New XBOX360 life.
I just purchased the XBOX360 last September. I had been without my old XBOX for about four months, after I got the "Red Ring of Death". I had thought about sending it off to be repaired, but didn't think it would be worth it. The XBOX360 was already out, so it wouldn't be long until games would stop flowing for the XBOX. I ran into a windfall of cash and decided to get the XBOX360.
I have had many different consoles in my lifetime, starting with an Atari 2600, but at one time I had the PS2 and the XBOX. The XBOX won my playing time. Not to say that the PS2 isn't a good system, but I only had limited time to engage in gaming. The XBOX offered one of my all time favorite games, KOTOR, and the PS2 did not. I also liked the fact that the XBOX had an internal harddrive I could download songs on and listen to while playing Sega GT and Forza. Plus the loading times where soooo much faster. Since the XBOX360 is backward compatible, I can still play my old XBOX favorites and the ones I didn't get a chance to play before the XBOX's death.
I am pleased with the XBOX360. I am taking advantage of the XBOX Live. I haven't gone to the Gold membership yet, but I am enjoying all the extras that XBOX Live has to offer. When I get a little better at some of my games, I will get into some online competition. The points you get for completing certain tasks in the different games gives me extra goals and replay interest for my games. I love all the extra space available on the harddrive. I have just about every one of my cd's on there, and I still have plenty of room left for all the downloads and game saves.
Since Christmas, I have a lot more games now. I need to quit my job so I can finish them all. I bet my wife won't like that. Thanks for reading. Later.

Up late!
I started another round of Kotor2. This time I used exp. cheats to make my character da'bomb. I used the N/S exp. cheat, and it took a long time. It was worth it to be so powerful so early on.
I just wish I didn't have to play it so late at night. I usually wait until my family is asleep before I play. (That way I can spend time with them, and don't take up a t.v.) So by the time 6:00am rolls around, I have had about 3-4 hours of sleep.
Right now I am just waiting on the Exchange to decide I pissed them off enough to invite me to Jekk Tarr-Tarr bar.
My character is at level 30. I could have gone further, but I got all the force powers I wanted for a Jedi Master. So now, anything else is just frosting on the cake. I just hope I can stay awake long enough to finish the game again.
I was thinking that if I could save my game on a memory card at the point where I got all juiced up; that maybe someone would buy it on Ebay. You think I would make any money off that?
Well, enough for now. I better get back to work before I get canned!
Later Tater.
