Although it seems hard to believe sometimes in the world of today, people are pretty smart. Humans have the brain power to outperform the most powerful computer in the world 1000 times over. As of now, IBM's BlueGene/L is 360 TeraFLOPS (360 trillion FLoating Point Operations Per Second, or 360,000,000,000,000 processor calculations per second), which is drool causing speed, is only 0.036% or 1/2,778 of one human's brain power.
