    cod4 online walkthrough (incomplete)

    This is the create a class guide for call of duty. here i give you a guideon what things do and how to use them effectivly. alot of bigginers may not understand how all these guns work to the fullest advantage but i am here for that. as for damage i cant give you stats on range effectiveness because i cant use an ingame ruler to measure the distance. as for wall shooting differnt walls have differnt effects on the damage.

    1. Perks

    Perks are your ability options when creating a class. slot 1 is equipment stuff like ammo or grenades options or even weapon attachments. slot 2 is your power stuff like more damage or more health, even faster fire rate or a UAV jammer to be un detected. i cant classify but it's some stuff like steady aim for hip fire or deep impact to wall shoot some camper on offense or dead silence or eaves drop for defense.

    this is where you find what suits your playing style and stand out

    here is your list for each slot and tips on what they are good for

    Slot 1:

    C4 x 2: C4 is an explosive you can plant by pulling left trigger while the remote is in your hand. C4 is a really strong explosive but because you need to detonate it yourself you need to either expect somebody or watch the spot. while your weapon is out just double tap X to detonate it quick without even putting away your weapon

    Special Grenades X 3: this alows you to have 3 special grenades instead of 1. this only works for stuns and flashbangs, not smokes. use the stuns to hold an enemy still and partial glare them from seeing or use a flashbang to blind the enemy for a longer period of time. the enemy can blinly run while flashbanged

    RPG x 2: you can take out a rocket launcher and you have 2 shots. more damageing then a grenade launcher but slower and less accurate.

    claymore x 2:this is a trip activated explosive. the directions the lasers point is the direction the exploasion points and kill, than mean you can stan behind it and it will not harm you. because it will explode it lets you know when the enemy is trying to attack you from behind so they are always going to warn you. it's like eyes on the back of your head for a sniper.

    frag x 3: this gives you 3 grenades instead of 1. this perk is one thing that ruins the game because people just throw all 3 grenades into the sky as they spawn to grab kills, it's cheap and for the cowardly. if you actually throw your grenades with a reason it's good but if you use this perk to throw blind grenades around then you are a n00b

    Bandoiler: this gives you extra amo, usefull when trying to set a new killing streak or you have a gun that is short on amo or burns amo fast

    bomb squad: this enables you to see an icon above enemy explosives so you dont run into them, you can even see them through wall making this a life saver in search and destroy game types

    slot 2:

    "with Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Double Tap, Sonic Boom" i do not have the Conversion sheet as to how many points of health and damage guns and targets have but i may have this in the future.

    Stopping Power: adds power to your gun. usually subtracts 1 bullet from how many shots needed to kill a target. this distance you shoot from may vary how effective this is but point blank will shed 1 bullet from how much you need (4 bullets vs. 3 bullets to kill a target) i dont have a conversion of how much damage points this adds. i know it adds a sum of % to the existing damage

    2. Weapons

    ___________________________________

    Assualt rifles: assualt rifles are your most basic weapon class. they all have great mid distance values and most have good long range values. these are your most balanced weapons since smgs or shottys dont do well long distance and snipers meant for long range. assualt refles are the best medium range weapons and are well balanced to handle any situation. the downside is that all the fully automatic assualt reifles have the breathing factor when aiming so it isnt a steady shot, this makes it harder to aim at distance. only fully automatic assualt rifles and snipers have that factor exept for the MP4. only 3 of them are a good choice for for long distance but all are good medieum distance choices

    Technique tips: tap or hold the trigger in a series of burst to reduce recoil. this is helpfull in long range

    M16: burst fire
    best in medium and long range
    packs a 1 hit kill. this weapon is open from the beggining and is one of the best in the game, alot of people use this weapon. this holds steady while aiming so it's easy to shoot across the map for this reason. with stopping power only 2 of the 3 bullets in the burst are needed to make a kill on a non juggernaut enemy

    Standard 3 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut 4 bullet kill (2 burst) - SP vs. juggernaut 3 bullet kill

    AK-47: fully automatic
    best in medium range
    with strong power but not as much fire rate as other fully automatic guns. this gun isnt easy to use as it recoils alot but can be a very good weapon if used right. the AK-47 is the most powerful of any fully automatic assualt rifles. i would say the best medium ranged assualt rifle. this is the only gun in any category that is actually weaker with a silencer compared to the other weapons

    close range damage: Standard 3 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut 4 bullet kill (2 burst) - SP vs. juggernaut 3 bullet kill

    M4 carbine: fully automatic.
    best for medium range, good at any
    you dont start with this but you unlock this at level10 so it's early. probably the most used gun in the game. it's like the Ak-47 but with alot less power and more fire rate, and it also has minimal recoil making this gun a good choice for alot of people who didnt get used to the AK-47's recoil or the M16 burst action. because of the little recoil it's alot easier to us this gun from long over the other fully auto assualt rifles. tapping the trigger is always better from long as it lowers recoil

    close range damage: Standard4 bullet kill - SP3 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut_bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut4 bullet kill

    G3: single shot fire.
    best at medium and long range
    the faster you pull the trigger the faster it shoots. this gun has the best accuracy of any other assualt rifle in the game. this gun is best in medium to long range as you just nail shots into targets with little recoil reducing accuracy

    close range damage: Standard_ bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut_ bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut_ bullet kill

    G36C: fully automatic.
    best at medium range, good at any range
    this gun is in the middle with rate of fire and power between the AK47 and M4. and it has a little more recoil over the M4. regardles of perks this gun will kill with the same amount of bullets as the M4 so with the added recoil it only makes sense after reading this to use the M4. only reason this is better to use then the M4 is that the M4 is harder to aim with then the g36c with iron sights if you like the grenade launcher or silencer. it may kills in the same amount of shots as an M4 but the G36c is alot better with a silencer and wall shooting since those 2 weakens bullets.

    close range damage: Standard4 bullet kill - SP3 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut5 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut4 bullet kill

    M14: single shot fire.
    best at medium and long range
    just like the G3 where it shoots fast as you pull the trigger. this gun will kill anybody in 2 shots exept a juggernaut and can be fixed if stopping power is used against it. this is the most powerfull assualt rifle in the game. this gun may be stronger then the G3 but has more recoil, if you at medium distance it wouldnt be a problem but from long you will need to slow down your fire

    close range damage: Standard2 bullet kill - SP2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut2 bullet kill

    MP44: fully automatic
    best at medium range
    this is the most questionable gun. why is it in the game? it has low stats and no weapon attachmeants along with being the last thing you unlock. this gun is a favorite to manyvet players in the COD series so they tried to make this tricky to use for most newer players. mostvet players know that the way to go is to tap the trigger from long distance and kill somebody in 2 shots with stopping power across the map, and most vets are used to the iron sights. this gun best compares to the AK-47, it has the exact same stats but the AK has more fire rate and can hold weapon attachments. the reason to use this gun over the AK and the secret is this. because it has less fire rate it's easier to control it's fire over long range to nail 2 hits and this is the only fully automatic assualt rifle that doesnt have breathing while aiming to make it un-steady while aiming long

    close range damage: Standard 3 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut 4 bullet kill (2 burst) - SP vs. juggernaut 3 bullet kill

    SMG: SMG's are your fully automatic close range friends, shotguns are your other close range buddys. what SMG's have is less of a bullet spread so you can get more shots in when you spray amo at somebody close and they have high mobility. high mobility means you can move faster and sprint for way longer, when holding left trigger you can still move with decant speed for a continuous speed. SMG's are small guns and lose 60% power when you shoot from long distance and have quite some recoil. you can get somebody from mid range but never get somebody from long, it will take a clip on a still target, not worth blowing your cover for unwanted attention from the enemy. this with the technique tips below are the reason i think SMG's are the best choice for beginners to tactical shooters

    techniue tips: when in mid rangeor any distance you need the left trigger to keep your bullets on the target. move around alot while shooting your target, SMG's have high mobility so you can keep fire on the enemy while making the enemy miss shots at you. you can also do this to quickly pop out of a corner when you know somebody is camping for you (stop'n'pop)

    MP5: this is probably the better choice then the skorpion at the beginning of the game. it is better on distance then the skorpion and has a bigger clip. the mp5 has a good blend of power and fire rate with good acuracy to keep them delivered well to the target. the MP5 has an easy to look through Iron sight so this is the most commonly silence gun in the game

    close range damage: Standard2 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut2 bullet kill

    Skorpion: this is the deadliest SMG in the game. it has more fire rate and accuracy then your MP5. most people think the skorpion is for pray n spray like SMGs are but the skorpion is the most accurate one. its to accurate for spraying and has a very small clip to add to that. the clip can make 2-3 kills if your acurate. the skorpion is rated lowest in range because it loses power but it is also accurate and doesnt recoil as much so pretend it's range is just as good as the others. when using a red dot ignore it when you see the dot recoil, the truth is the gun appears to recoil up but the bullets are actually recoiling sideways

    close range damage: Standard2 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut2 bullet kill

    Mini Uzi: The Mini Uzi has the highest overall combo of fire rate to power. the mini uzi has alot of recoil and is least effective of all SMGs at long range, but this high recoil has an advantage as holding the left trigger will be more accurarate then hip fireing but the recoil makes this a remain a sprayer. in hip fire the skorpion may be more deadly but the mini-uzi is probably the most skill based SMG.

    close range damage: Standard2 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut2 bullet kill

    AK74u: this is the most powerfull SMG. this has the recoil but if the trigger is tapped good this can be used well at range. the 74u is the only SMG that has breathing when aiming. if the aim was still then this would be a gun with all the values of an SMG with the range of an assualt rifle. i wouldnt use it from that long of range. the 74u has an easy to look through iron sight but isnt as common of a silincer choice for some reason

    close range damage: Standard2 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut2 bullet kill

    P90: the P90 has tha fastest rate of fire and a huge clip ready to unload on somebody. the P90 has an easy to look through iron sight just like the MP5 and makes another good choice for silencers. the P90 ison the better end of recoilwith recoil so it's another that handles well on distance.

    close range damage: Standard3 bullet kill - SP 2 bullet kill - standard vs. juggernaut_ bullet kill - SP vs. juggernaut3 bullet kill

    shotguns: just like an SMG is great in close range and and has high mobility. differnce is theres no point in ever holding left trigger because the bullet spread is always the same. shotguns are close range only and pack that one hit kill depending on accuracy and distance. take advantage of the mobility and keep the move fast so you can ambush a bunch of campers in a building

    technique tips: you dont want to keep back because this wont help on distance and you dont need to bumrush in the open and get sniped. carry a smoke grenade when your pinned in by a ranged camper

    W1200: the W1200 is your stronger shotgun with a bigger clip but slower fire rate. it is almost full and dont use that as an excuse to not use stopping power, you can always use that perk to increase the range you can shoot from.

    M1014: the M1014 is alot weaker and wont get a one hit kill unless dead on accurate from close range, it has more fire rate to make up for it but it has only 4 shots so if you just unload on a target i hope you can survive a double team or dont get ambushed when reloading

    Light machine guns

    LMGs are high power and fire rate monsters with massive amo clips. the recoil is high also and the mobility makes you a turtle in the open. now the best thing these are for is shooting down choppers and killing enemys in big chunks like a wolf packed bum rush in domination. the thing with these are that the aim spread is too big and needs steady aim but then these are really good for wall shooting and seems good for deep impact. your best bet is to practice holding left trigger and strabbing at close range so you dont need steady aim

    technique tips: when at close range get in th habit of holding the left trigger so you can change the bullet spread. this can substitute stedy aim.

    m20 SAW: with the highest ROF and lowest power with crazy recoil this is either a choice for spraying or wall shooting. if you want to reduce recoil then you can unlock the grip and shoot in short or long burst. this is most effective at close range with steady aim or medium range. really hard at long range

    RPD: higher on power and lower and fire rate, the RPD is the most balanced LMG in that department. the RPD has the least recoil of the so the grip doesnt have much effect on it. the way the iron sight lines with the ACOG scope is great and is a great long range sprayer

    M60: with the most power and least fire rate this is a hard hitter and doesnt need stopping power. it has high recoil but the grip can reduce that. since this already has power this is good if you chose to use the grip and with either double tap/juggernaut/sleight of hand. this gun with skill of the iron sight is a beast on the battle field

    Sniper Rifles (pre-patch)

    sniper rifles in real life terms are any rifles with a 4x zoom scope but people see them as your scoped guns with not the highest ROF but a strong packing hit and this game lived up to that. just keep distance and drop somebody before they knew what hit them.the bolt action rifles hold 4-5 shots as your semi-auto holds 10 shots a round. your bolt action rifles are more accurate as the semi may miss but has speed or just sparaying. all but 1 rifle can pack a 1 hit kill on a non juggernaut and 2 can do it without stopping power

    m40: the first sniper you get and the most accurate one. with stopping power you can 1 hit kill from the upper body and waist, this can arguemently be the best sniper. deffinately good for a beginner accuracy wise

    m21: this sniper no matter if or if not there is stopping power or juggernaut in the mix is a 2 hit kill on the body. this has the least recoil making this the ultimate spray sniper. a good beginner sniper as well for the less accurate players

    dragonov: being an upperbody kill with stopping power (not waist) and having less recoil the then .50 cal you have better odds on picking off enemys with speed. the skilled will always get the upperbody shots for the kills and with speed because they can handle the amount of recoil. only for the skilled snipers

    R700: with a 1 hit kill without stopping power to the upper body this sniper is 2nd most accurate but not as accurate as the M40 and holds 4 shots instead of 5. with 4 you better not miss as much and nail every 1 hit kill. can drop enemys in the legs with stopping power

    barret .50 cal: the most used sniper. it appeals to people for it's name or it's sound when shooting or for being tied for strongest sniper but with semi auto. unlike the dragonov this has more recoil so you need more time between shots for the aim to reset. another thing with this is that the barret has it's unique sound over the other snipers and players immediately notice the shot and will take cover on you or plan to ambush you.

    3. weapon attachments:

    Red Dot Sight: moves as much as the iron sight will for brething wise. the dot is the aim and the rest is open space making it easy to see through compared to the iron

    ACOG: the tip of the arrow is the shot but this is inacurate and will be fixed with the patch. this has beathing redardless and makes distance harder sometimes

    silencer: the silencer makes it silent of course when shooting and stops you from showing up on radar when shooting. it is a mind game if these make the gun more accurate or reduces recoil but it deffinately makes the bullet weaker on long range

    Grip: for a better grip you will have less recoil and that means better accuracy only availible for the LMG's and Shotguns

    Grenade launcher: called the noob tube by some people this shoot faster then the rocket and is more accurate. this can only be attached to an assualt riffle. now shooting a grenade and needing it too hit near the enmy is easyier then shooting 2-5 bullets on the enemy and this can make double kills and sometimes tripple kills. this needs to shoot a sum of distance otherwise it shoots without an explosion.
