    Dealing With The Heat Inside

I bought three new fans this week to go along with three new games. Summer is looking intimidating, and I will likely be broke until school starts back up in the fall so I prepared myself. Looks like I will be rocking Infamous, Guitar Hero Metallica, and Cross Edge over the summer vacation. When I finish those games I will have an opportunity to go back to many of the games I never got platinum's for. Here's looking forward to the fall, having more money and all the great releases.

Drag Me To Hell (Spoilers Maybe)

Teara and I went to the 11:30AM showing of Drag Me To Hell so we could catch the movie before she went into work. Neither of us liked it. The movie was paced slow and relied on gross out humor, the equivalent to**** and fart jokes, but with spit and vomit.

To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I am an avid Evil Dead fan. I missed seeing X-Men, Terminator, Star Trek, and Up so I could waste my money on this film out of respect to the "talents" of the Raimi brothers. The biggest problem with the movie was the female lead. They tried to run Bruce Campbell gags with a generic blond actress. She couldn't stand up to the material, and frankly the material would have a hard time standing up to mediocre TV drama.

If Drag Me To Hell, along with the recent Raimi movies, has taught me anything it is that the magic was in Bruce Campbell and never in Sam.

    Bipolar Sociopathic Gamer

I've been awfully down lately and thought I would take this opportunity to make a list of some of the things that still keep me happy. It worked for the children in Marry Poppins when they were frightened of the thunderstorm, and I'm fairly certain movies don't lie, so here it goes.

Constance, my cat, who believes that my fiancé is a food bag, and who, I think, secretly plans to marry me (somewhere in her queer kitty mind)

My fiancé, who puts up with Constance and me.

Pavement, which brings me back to happier days on the streets of Portland.

Monarch Vodka, the 100 proof magic memory eraser.

Demons Souls and its surprisingly addictive game play.
