  And, since this is the week in which we mourn for those lost in the attacks on 9/11:

  On September 11th, 2001, two of America's most beloved buildings were destroyed, along with almost 3,000 innocents. Each year, on 9/11, we mourn those that were lost. In honor of the late landmark, we shine two lights towards the night sky to serve as both a memorial and a reminder of that day.
  
  In a few hours, we changed from a nation divided by differences and united under one name; Americans. If there is one positive thing that came out of this, it was that it brought us closer as a country. However, that is not a fair price to pay for that which was lost. Fathers that never returned home to their sons, daughters and wives, Firefighters that gave their lives rescuing those within the burning buildings. Children were pulled from school, families desperately called their loved ones in New York to try and assure their safety.
  
  Another plane crashed into the Pentagon, killing all passengers and many of the workers inside. Another plane crashed into a field, due to the heroic actions of those aboard. In the face of certain death, the passengers of flight United 93 chose to not give those men what they wanted, and to bring them down with them in an act that undoubtably saved many important lives. We salute them for their bravery, and we mourn their passing.
  
  So let us again look to the sky and say a prayer for all those lost on this tragic day. Let us never forget those that gave their lives trying to save the countless innocents when all odds were stacked against them. They will be forever missed, and forever remembered.
