Btw, this isn't really a blog, more of a quick short update

Well as I told you before its the Holidays

And my dad has decided to go on a 3 day holiday

We would of gone longer but as its my sisters A levels soon my dad didn't want her to miss too much revision time so its more of a 3 day break than a holiday

So I'm going to Barcelona by plane tomorrow and I just remembered to blog about it now

Anyway I don't know many details but we're staying in a four star hotel called Apsis Millenni

And to be honest, I can't wait!!

Heres how the hotel looks

Anyway not only am I excited about staying in the hotel, but I'm also extremely excited about going sightseeing

And as I am a big fan of Football (soccer for some of you) I am definitely going to Barelonas football stadium Camp Nou which looks amazing

And my dad practically has a list of places to go visit

Well I just wanted to inform you guys about me going on holiday, I'll see you guys next time

On Monday the Easter Holidays started for me (I posted this blog yesterday but It didn't work so I'll try posting it again)

And so far its great!

I've watched some films, been out a lot, been to relatives a lot, played some Pc games, some Ps2 games, A lot of wii games and have had people staying over

Well first of all it was my cousins birthday party so we went out to watch The spiderwick chronicles (He is only 7 so we had to watch a childrens film)

Overall I thought this film was pretty good!

Watching trailers I didn't have high expectations but overall it was quite good, it had a good storyline and was very funny at times

I'd probably rate it 7.5/10

Anyway after that I went to my uncles house and got to play Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and I have to say the game is definitely worthy of gamespots score ( 8.5 )

We played Co-op and in the game you play as a 4 man team

The team commander can give the Ai team commands such as "Open the door" or "Follow me" etc

So we could easily let the team open the door and shoot opponents and then we could follow while our opponents are distracted by the Ai team who where pretty good (although they got injured a lot of the time and you had to inject them to bring them back to life )

We worked a strategy where me and the 2 Ai teams would go all guns blazing and my uncle would hide behind a wall and take them out one by one (although I would usually leave my team and go on on my own like rambo )

Overall the game was great and was extremely fun in co-op mode as there was a lot of communicating and team work going on which was good

The graphics were also very good as I have played the first game and although that did look good this one did look better

My cousin also stayed over my house and it was great

He brought SvR 08 and a ps2 controller and we did so much gaming!

We went out, We played football outside, we did pc gaming, ps2 gaming, wii gaming it was so much fun!

We played Pro evo multiplayer, Svr08 multiplayer, Midnight club multiplayer, Mario strikers charged multiplayer and so much more

The 3 days was just so much fun I have no idea how many hours we played games altogether for

I used to be a wrestling fan but I still like the games and I have to say SvR08 has improved a lot from the other games

It is a lot more realistic than the previous games and the control scheme is completely different

You can bounce of ropes and go flying into your opponent, you can throw one person onto the turnbuckle and another on top of him its just so much fun and realistic!

If the Ps2 version is this fun I can't wait to play the PS3 version one day

Its just a shame that the wii version was terrible

Yesterday I also went to my friends house with another one of my friend

And it was great fun!

We played a lot of multiplayer wii games like Mario And Sonic, Mario strikers, Pro Evo etc

Mario and sonic was ok but it was a lot better as we where playing multiplayer

And although my friend brought Zack and Wiki I didn't get to play it as we went out bowling and were playing football beforehand

In bowling I won by 5 points xD

Anyway I have also become Level 25!

5 levels away from "The Elite" level 30

Now I am "Defias brotherhood"

I think its some world of warcraft thing

Gaming Update

Apart from gaming with family and friends I have also gamed a lot by myself

I have started playing multiplayer on Halo again (yes its very old) and have started to play hitman 2 again as I didn't complete it when I bought it a while ago

I have been playing wii a lot mainly pro evo wifi

When I play I'm pretty good as I lost once, drew once and have won every other game that I have played

And as I have said before my dad loves pro evo

So that we could play multiplayer he bought me another nunchuk.

Now I can play all my games multiplayer

I also got the new issue of onm!

It is very good with big reviews of games like wii fit and a huge 8 page preview of Sonic Unleashed with some brand new exclusive screens (about 20 of them) and overall it is a very good and interesting issue

Well the game comes out in the Uk tomorrow but just like my metroid prime 3 pre-order it came a day early

And as soon as I come home I see my dad glued to the tv playing the game :lolhe loves pro evo just as much as me )

But still, as soon as I saw the games case on the table I was ecstatic!

So far I have played the game a good two hours and I have absolutely loved it

At first glance, although the wii doesn't have the best graphics in the world, the game still does look pretty good, especially close up when players celebrate

The sound so far is also pretty good as the crowd chants have improved a lot from last year and the commentating is also an improvement from last year

But what makes the game amazing is the gameplay

It just makes the game probably the best Pro evo I have played in my life

You may know from one of my previous blogs is that you control the player with the nunchuk or by pointing with the wiimote

At first I thought it would be confusing but its very easy and makes the game a lot better

Its so much easier to make those pinpoint passes you need in football games and it just makes crosses so much easier

There are also other great controls that makes the game so much better than past installments and gives you so much freedom and options in the game it just makes the game so much more realistic

For example, in the previous game I hated crossing in corners

Whenever I crossed it almost never reached a player and could never score

But now I can do it so much more! You can easily pinpoint the area where you want to send your cross and while doing so you can also set your players runs into the box so they can easily volley or head the ball in

This control scheme just makes the game so much easier and more fun

So far the only bad thing is the defensive controls, although they aren't too bad its just that they are not as good as the offensive controls but is not too much of a big problem

I havent tried the online in the game yet as I got it early not that many people In Europe have it yet but there are many gameplay modes such as Cup, Leagues, Champions Road mode etc

The game may seem confusing but there is an in-depth tutorial mode that told me everything I need to know

As I said before my dad loves Pro Evo and as he wants to play multiplayer a lot he has said that I'll be getting a nunchuk soon so that we can play together

5. Kirby Wii

Who doesn't love kirby?

He's a Pink blob who doesn't mind walking around without any clothes

And even though I haven't tried many Kirby games I would love to play one as Kirby eats people and gets their powers

And if it was made on the wii with so many different monsters just think of the possibilities.

Even though A 3D remake of Kirby would be Great even a side scrolling game with 2d gameplay could be cool

The N64 version was Ok I guess...

4. Starfox Wii Announcement

The starfox games have been pretty good and I loved Lylat Wars on the N64

Just imagine a starfox flying game with wii controls, it would be a perfect match in my opinion

Control it by tilting the nunchuk, Push forward on the C stick to accelerate, Point with the wiimote to aim your blasters, I'm sure it would be great!

Well we have Lylat wars on the VC and the 1st level in Warioware Smooth moves so lets hope for Starfox Wii!

We already have some of Fox on Brawl at least

3. F-Zero Wii announcement

This is also another game that I loved on the N64

It got great reviews and was incredibly fast, so fast that it was hard to keep track on your vehicle

Multiplayer would also be amazing and imagine it with the wii with online multiplayer

Although there aren't that many amazing wii racers, as it will be nintendo making the game I'm sure it will be amazing

Although the graphics weren't great, it was incredibly fast

Look at that, 854km/h

The gamecube version was also pretty good

2. New Jak and daxter game

Even though I don't own a PS3 I absolutely love the Jak and Daxter series

The graphics are great, it has great platforming and Jak and daxter are absolutely Hilarious

Even though its unlikely as Naughtydog has moved on to Uncharted I would love to see another Jak and daxter game

And you can imagine the possibilities on the PS3, if Ratchet can do it, Jak can do it better

I wish this was true

1.Zelda Wii

Ok I know theres Twilight Princess

but thats basically just a port of the gamecube game

I would love to see a true Zelda wii made just for the wii

As nintendo have learnt how to use more of the wii's power (mario galaxy is proof of this) I'm sure the graphics would be a lot better than before and the game would be a lot bigger

And I can't wait to see what Kind of ****the game would use

Wind waker and cel shading, Twilight princess was a lot more serious and dark, they have taken so many paths with the zelda series, all totally different and Unique I can't wait till the next one!

Twilight Princess was amazing but I can't wait for a true Zelda wii

Other Gaming news

Well usually we get a 2 week holiday for easter

But as the times are changing the actual easter day is outside of that 2 week holiday instead being on a normal week

This gives us a 5 day weekend

So that means not only do we get a 2 week holiday in 13 days we also get a 5 day weekend this week!

And I have been through two days and I have to say its been great

Waking up late, watching movies, chilling out, going to the park, eating out, its just great we have so much free time. And if i think a 5 day weekend is this great then I can't wait to see how I feel when we actually get the 2 week holiday

And of course I have been Gaming a lot the past 2 days

As I had so much time I just got into final fantasy 12 which I bought ages ago and I have to say its amazing. Graphics are beautiful for a ps2 game and the story is extremely deep

I have also been playing the wii a lot, mainly multiplayer with friends and family but I have also been playing games like Sonic and the Secret games and the addictive yet incredibly hard Mercury meltdown revolution

The great thing is as I have so much time I have time to play games I play a lot and games I don't usually play

Well I have been thinking about getting another game

And there are a lot of great wii games that are out there

Games that I have been thinking about getting are No More heroes or Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Zack and Wiki, Pro Evo Wii and Mario Kart Wii

I will definitely get Mario Kart wii but its being released in about a month so I'm planning on buying another wii game before that, even if that means I have to buy kart a couple of weeks after release date.

So I have been looking at Pro Evo Wii most as I love Pro Evo Games, My dad will definitely play it and It has gotten 90% from Official Nintendo Magazine and it also got 90% from Gamesmaster UK (I love and trust both these magazines)

I am definitely considering getting the other two, but Its just that I may get them on a later date and Pro Evo Wii around the time it is released (March 28th) as although the other two games are great, I really want to try a football game on the wii and to see how it works, and so far reviewers have said it works great

Out of the 3 I will most likely get Pro Evo Wii first, then MOH:H2 and then No more heroes, as although I think NMH looks absolutely amazing I definitely need more Wifi games for the wii as I love Multiplayer games. If I get those two and then Brawl and Mario Kart Wii there will be plenty of online gaming for me

I think that this game can be great and although I will get the other games one day this will be the first I'll be picking up of the three.

Other News

Well other stuff has been going on too

My next issue of ONM came out and it has a world exclusive review of mario kart wii!!

There is also a giant Mario Kart Wii poster and some decals for my wiimotes

They scored Mario Kart Wii 94% and said the wii wheel works extremely well and the bikes are great too so that gets rid of anyones fears about that

I also got a level up and am now "I Feel Asleep!!" which I think is a quote from the NES version of metal gear

Doubters don't worry, Mario Kart wii is great and so is the wii wheel!
