  New additions

  well, another few months have passed and i havent written again, uni seems to be taking up alot more time than usual these days. Well since the last post anyway ive added a few new great games to my ever expanding collection. Namely, mass effect, eternal sonata and PES 08. And i gotta say im loving all 3. I know i said before about pes being old and boring, but ive completely taken it back, i love the gameplay. Ive even grown to like it more than fifa 08. Eternal sonata and mass effect on the other hand are quite different. think these two games are becoming some of my favourite ever games. I love the style and feel of Eternal sonata, think they have the battle system spot on for the theme of the game. And mass effect has got so much depth i cant pull myself away from it. The custom feature is fantastic, the options of dialogue are great, and the game plays so smoothly, i can get fully imersed within seconds. anyway, its a bit late so ill round up. Ill write again, probably in another few months, haha.

  Havent posted in a while...

  Think its been a bit too long since my last blog post on GS. Well its after 4.20 in the morning and ive just stopped coding, seems like every night is the same nowadays as i aim to boost myself to get a good degree. Well i cant really complain seeing as it does make me happy. anyway enough about me and more about games,
  
  Recently invested alot more money in my gaming pasttime, purchased a number of top quality games which i am generally impressed with all of, well almost. I was sad enough to attend one of the midnight launches for Halo 3, what a surreal night, a hoard of fellow geeks all running, yes running, to be the first to the counter, thinkme and some friends were at the back of the queue cos of our relaxed approach.
  
  Gotta say the game is fun, though the end could have been better ive had many fun filled hours playing, even though it refused to give me any credit for finishing level 4 twice, luckily enough the third time it did. Another great game ive recently bought was FIFA 08, gotta say i am very impressed, sports games always seem to be the games i always pick up and play lately as i just dont seem to have time for any rpgs with the amount of time spent on studys. I have been very impressed(lol using this word alot, must be getting tired) by fifa. And after downloading the PES2008 demo i cant really see the novelty of pes anymore, they are continually using the same game and just adding one or 2 features to it, seems to me they are just getting lazy as their sure to sell loads to the hardcore fans. ill still buy it, haha.
  
  List of others ive bought since last post:

  • Bioshock (I like alot, the wrench is hilarious, especially when you smack a big daddy with it and get a quick death for your efforts, thank god for the vita chambers, lol)
  • Forza 2 (I love the online features, I really enjoy being able to see my friends times before every race, then crushing them and having a nice laugh, especially when i text them to say how id beaten their lap by 10+ seconds)
  • Final Fantasy 3 (Blasphemy, I havent really gotten time to play, thats unforgivable for me seeing as i always had time for FF games in the past, no matter how annoying(FFX-2) but this one seems to be good, well i guess ill get some time at xmas on the flight back home)
  • Pokemon Diamond (Love it, I really am a geek, this game was released on my birthday, and instead of going on the beloved alcohol, i went for a meal with my lovely girlfriend then retired to bed to play pokemon, how embarrassing)
  • Tiger Woods (I hated, theyve ruined the game with the blooming sensitivity of the manual swing, grrrrr, hook)
  • Two Worlds (Just tryed to hard to be oblivion, and failed at every hurdle, I even traded it in, which is rare when a game is less than 3 years old, this was just 2 weeks, though i played it for about 2 hours)

  Anyway, this has taken too long to write, so im gonna head to bed, but expect to see yet another blog post in the not so distant future. Good night world of beautiful gamers

  So summers here......

  And theres lots of time for some intensive gaming, as well as doing some work for uni and my portfolio.

  Final fantasy 12 is coming close to an end after 80+ hours of gameplay, and crackdown is still giving my 360 the hours of play.
  Just have to think now of what games to get to keep me occupied for the next four months til uni starts again.
