I Have My New Computer!
Yes indeed! It is what is listed in my previous blog post.
It is very good. Simply put, of course.
Of course, with the arrival of such a machine you would feel inspired to try out your games and compare what you see now to what you had then. Every game I have on the PC runs maxed out with an average of 60FPS. I'm not so sure about World in Conflict because its harder to tell; but basically that runs well. Crysis on the other hand, obviously doesn't run maxed out at 60FPS. Christ, if it did, the world would implode for the reason that that is not feasibly possible. BUT, I was rather delighted when it told me that the recommended settings were 'very high'. Crysis looks incredible and runs rather smoothly. I've suddenly gained interest in playing older games of which I have not played for donkey's years.
Now, it may just be part of only living for 15 years, but I feel massive nostalgia when I play one of the original Call of Duty's. It is very strange, how you can change and become a completely different person over the short period of 3 years or so whilst in the first period of your life. And yet, when you reach adult-hood, a decade can pass and you would barely feel different.
On another note, my school grades are improving term by term. Is the American equivalent a 'semester' or something? I dunno. Anyhow, this is good.
One thing I will do to my computer soon is upgrade to 4GB of RAM. I feel it needs some more juice to aid my playing of Crysis.
These are from in-game. Unfortunately, Crysis lacks a screenshot feature and so i recorded a bit of gameplay (with cutscene) and so did a print screen in WMP. They were taken in 1024x768 (my monitor's max resolution) 30fps in the cutscene and around 20FPS in gameplay. (Which is surprisingly smooth). These screens had to be reduced in size (and so, quality) in order to be viewed on Gamespot. Basically, they look leaps and bounds better in-game.

OMG My 360 is Bricked!! lololololololol
Yeah, so i turn the 360 on and then boom- three red lights of death. Well thats a bugger. Still, it might be good because it might result in a new 360 or just a repaired one. Bit unfortunate though, seeing how bioshock comes out in... about 3 days or something.
Well whatever will be will be i suppose just as long as i have a working 360 by the time Halo 3 comes I'll be happy.
I'll play on the PC, Wii and PS3 until then.
Oh and heres an actual picture of my actual 360 with the actual 3 lights of death......ACTUALLY.

The last image is just to prove that i have indeed got all the necessary cables attached.
Also, if the images aren't visable, then just follow this link to view them.
