    Comic Con!

I went on the last day. My uncle was vendor (www.toyrocket.com) and was able to get me in for free, so it was really awesome. I've never been there, and was kindof surprised that there were a bunch of video game booths (I only really went there to see maddox, too bad the loser wasn't there on sunday) so I was able to play some demos. Felt like a mini E3 there

Sony was there, along with Capcom, Konami, Square, and a couple others. Here's what I got to play with a 1/10 rating of awesomeness:

TimeShift: 8 - Blowing a guy up with an explosive crossbow was fun, but... meh, it just felt like another shooter with a bunch of blood.

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction: 9 - Looked awesome, still felt ratchet-ey, but there were some changes that were a bit strange. Ratchet looked all weird, and the jumpads moved WAY too slow, but the weapons were awesome (especially the groovitron).

Balls of Fury: Will not comment.

Contra 4: I'm not qualified to give the game a rating. I got five seconds into the first level. Whoopie!

Zack and Wiki : The Quest for a Shorter Subtitle - 9 - I only played the first level, but it has good comedy here and there, made great use of the Wii remote, and definitely eased you into the game with the "tutorial" while still seeming relevant to the game. I'm really looking forward to it.

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations - 8 - It was pretty hard to get into with the show floor being so dang loud (stupid Street Fighter tournament going on right behind me...) but it had the wit and charm. I think the old style DS with no battery (it was plugged directly into a power source) was a little weird though. Capcom just shoved the game into the middle of the two Wii's that were playing Zack and Wiki with what seemed to be a damaged DS they bought for 10 bucks of off a kid somewhere.

Syphon Filter: Logans Shadow - 8 - I really liked the cover system, and the pre rendered cut scenes looked amazing. The level started with me manning a helicopter's machine gun, and the it dropped me onto an aircraft carrier with what I would assume are evil terrorists. I skipped the intro. The cover system was great, and it aimed OK for just using face buttons.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - 8 - I was kinda disappointed. On one hand, the game felt epic with sweeping camera angles, a good platforming system, and amazingly fluid animations. Yet on the other, I didn't like the cover system, the characters had this weird jaggy black/white outline on them, and I could never get the hang of aiming. Still, it has potential. I probably just sucked at it.

I will now dedicate this next section to games I wish I could have played.

Geometry Wars - There was five people waiting for it with each person taking about 15 minuets each. Screw that!

Silent Hill: Origins - Same as above, but throw in loud showfloor + game that really needs to be played in the quiet dark = Pass.

Parappa the Rappa - My dad was hungry, and as it turns out he was too much of a cheapskate to buy the food there anyway. I lost my place in line and ended up moving on to Uncharted.

Fear: Something or Another - A big sweaty fat guy was playing it while I was playing TimeShift. I took up like 10 minuets, and I would assume he's been there a while, and I think I came back about 15 minuets later, and he was in the same spot.

And now, to gloat. I got a sketch by Kris of Cyanide and Happiness. It features a ripped page, andhis trademark stick figure cracking in half screaming: "nooooooo!". I also got a free memory stick. It was only 32 MB but hey, it's free! I got some other swag but couldn't ever get the Joker Dollars or 300 Shields or Indiana Jones coins. =( However, that was all made up for when my uncle gave me the opened Light Saber that they were using to show the item off with. It glows and makes noises and is all heavy and stuff

So yeah, for free, comic con owned. I also hope my uncle will love me more for advertising his site at the beginning of this Blog.

Edit: Square didn't have a thing! All they had was a big movie for DQIX that was playing over and over again and a bunch of action figures. The G4 booth sucked like the rest of G4 too. Sci-Fi channel had this massive amoeba thing, which took up a bunch of unnecessary space, and Blizzard only had World of Warcraft demos. *Slap!* I want some Starcraft! I don't care if you don't have anything dangit!

    awwe maaaan!

Yeah, I was riding (motorcycles) with my friend a couple months ago, but I didn't get to ride much. What happend was, about 15 minuets after we left, I got really thirsty and couldn't keep the bike up, so I asked my friend if we could go home. He seemed pretty angry, but we went home and I drank some things and we were about to go back out. As it turned out, I had taken too long and he had to leave and go home by the time I was ready again. He was pretty mad.

The next day, I saw him again. He came up to me and started to cuss me out. I didn't know what was going on, but I geuss it was all about the day before. He screamed at me, it sucked really bad. It ended in a near fight, with him threatening to beat me up and such. I found out that the only girl that I kinda liked started dating him that day too. He turned all my friends against me with lies and rumours... I was so depressed.

I came home and told my mom, and she said: "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in bel air!" So I whistled for a cab and when it came near, I saw that it's liscence plate said "Fresh" ind It has dice in the mirror! For a moment there I thought that this cab was rare, but said "Nah, forget it. Yo homes! To bel air!

    GS makes me so mad.

Yeah, so I took about half an hour spell-checking and typing out my annual blog post, when I click submit. Turns out I had "Sucks" in my topic title. Not too bad right? Wrong. At the end of the first paragraph, the word "cla ss" seems to be blocked. The entire 5 paragraphs of the post after that were all gone. After waking my parents up with an extremly loud "GAAAMESPOOOOT SUUUUUCKS!!!!!!!" I brought myself to post about it here.

    Why Gamespot Sucks Hard

    1. Really Bad censoring: Sure, you can say "Ass" all you want. But "cla ss"? NO WAY! THAT WILL POISON MY MIIIIND!!! Why the heck is "cla ss" forbidden anyway? Because it has "ass" in it? Why isn't the ACTUAL WORD blocked then? JEEZ! I hate swearing as much as the censors do, but to block words like "Cla ss" is silly.

    2. White Screens of death: How many times have you got this? This annoying glitch that only seems to happen here? Sure, it's easy to get rid of, but why is it there in the first place? There is SO many other glitches that the administrators don't even seem to care about either! Why don't you FIX the level 20 glitch? Why can't you fix the White Screens? Why is there double posting? GET OFF YOUR LAZY BEHINDS AND FIX IT!

    3. Ads: Ads. Ads everywhere. Ads are even in my way trying to ACTUALLY READ THE SITE!!! Then they have the gaull to make the X button on the add so tiny, that when you click it, if its one centimeter off, you go to the site the add is for! WHY DO THEY HAVE ADS LIKE THAT!?!?!? Then, theres the "Scion Polls" Like "What would you want driving though he ghetto? TC, Xa, or XB?" I would want a friggin uzi! Why would I be driving though the "ghetto" with a scion anyway? To get shot at or something? THEN they have creepy baby ads, or ads with ACTUAL BOOBS IN THEM. I don't want to see hiarlipped baby's or boobs on GS ads! Who are they trying to target? Underage gamers? "Click here. Booooobs."

    4. Gamefaqs. Why did you merge them again? Oh thats right, you wanted us to all hate each other. Mmmkay. "You use GS? SHUUUUUUN" Look C-net, if you want to cause hate and tension, just make more ads with hairlipped baby's ok? Do NOT get forums to merge when said forums do not want that to happen.

    5. I better stop before I grow grey hair. I have enough stress in my life.
