Time well spent
I finally have had a little bit of time away from work, due to a vacation to Tennessee with my family. Visiting Pidgeon Forge and seeing the strip is a sight to behold. I have no problem with heights, but being on top of a mountain the whole trip made my mom a little uneasy. That was last weekend.
This weekend, I finally got to see two movies that I have been waiting on for a while: Wanted and The Dark Knight. Wanted was very cool, and had some awesome shootouts, and while a bit unrealistic, the bullet-curving was an original idea. As for the Dark Knight, I'm sure everyone will agree that this movie was the summer blockbuster that everyone was hoping it would be. Heath Ledger just bumped Jack Nickelson out of the way and stole his spotlight as the Joker. Every moment Heath was on screen he would make you laugh, and strike a sense of fear into you. I have no clue as how the next Batman, or even the next superhero movie, will top the The Dark Knight.
The biggest news is that right before my vacation with my family in Tennessee, I finally got my PS3 along with Uncharted. I have already cheated and beaten MGS 4 on my friends PS3, but that was one gaming experiece that I won't soon forget, and was the defining reason why that was my favorite game series created. Hands down! As for Uncharted, that would go down as one of my favorite action games, and was a unique entry in a game genre crowded by duds and imitators.
As for everyone, how has everyone's summer been? Any good summer stories to tell of?

Okay, I have been a ghost for too long!
Besides my absense, I have finally decided to come back to the light. After months of searching, I finally got my hands on a Wii along with Super Mario Galaxy and Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. Both are great, but I'm sure most of you who have Wiis will know that. As for other games, I recently gone back and bought GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas in sheer anticipation of GTA IV. ONLY 28 MORE DAYS!!!!! Also, Dark Sector is a great game, and one that I bought just because I came across a little money. Also R6:Vegas 2 is great, however it's too much like the first one. Check out my review for it to get my opinion on it.
Anyway, how has everyone been? I know it's been a while, but I've been greedy with my time on games right now. Can't help myself sometimes.

All kinds of random talk
Wow, a lot of things have been going on here lately. Good things that is because 2007 was a nightmare for me. Then again, even numbers are my friends and odd numbers are my enemies, so that about sums it up, so hello 2008! I have a few pieces of news for everyone reading this.
1st) Cloverfield. What else can I say. Previously known as 1-18-08, Cloverfield has been a big mystery after having a trailer show berfore Transformers in theatres last year. Now it is out, and all I can say is WOW! I was planning on skipping school to see this movies first showing, but I didn't have to do that. Suprisingly, I recieved free advanced tickets to see Cloverfield. Talk about luck! i attended, and left the theatre shaking and awe-struck. Never before have I felt part of a movie before. ***If you get motion sickness, stay away from this movie!*** The only grip I have about the movie is that the monster wasn't ever explained. But this is coming from the people who came up with Lost, and J.J. Abrams likes to keep his fans guessing. The sound and special effects were top notch and the music in the movie fit perfectly. I give the movie an 8/10.
2nd) Since I am on the Lost topic, the game looks to be a fan's dream. Being able to interact with all the characters of the show, those who are still alive anyway, is going to be great. All the locals and characters, plus some, are being created and recreated for the game. Being developed by Ubisoft means that this game has a chance to succeed.
3rd) Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Final Fantasy Crisis Core and many more top teir games are right around the corner. Very strong start to the new year! Gamers everywhere will finally be able to play some long awaited titles, including GTA IV. YYYAAAYYY!
4th) In order to play Final Fantasy Crisis Core, I need a PSP, and another wish has been granted. One of my friends from college is going to sell me his PSP for $70!!! Comes with the PSP and power cord. Funny because he is selling his PSP or a PS3. Ironic, huh?
Anyway, enough typing for now. But seriously, go see Cloverfield!
