  First Week of School and All Hope Is Gone Full Review!

  First week of school and its stupid. All my classes got changed cause my counselor is ******* stupid and is only a counselor because she is stupid, (which I told her when she didn't want to change my classes back) So they should be back to how they were Tuesday. It was no big deal, just took stuff out I needed for college and switched the rest of the classes so I had no friends in them. Stupid *****. Like I really want to learn German? Hell no, but I have to since I need a foreign language and Spanish and French are tought by a teacher I dont really like, all that's left it Latin or German.

  Which reminds me, for talent show this year we're playing our own song D*mnation, Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation by Trivium (cutting the "Hey" part down to only ten), and my favorite Down w/ the Sickness (and I even edited it so we can keep the "child abuse" part)]

  And as you may know, the "child abuse" part is now about a child being abused by his mom, its about something to do with mother naturse/society rejecting someone, something like that.

  And now, comes the All Hope Is Gone complete review. Even better now the words "All Hope is Gone" wont be in blog titles anymore, I think it was in at least 5 in the past two months.

  Also, half this review is from two blogs ago, when I had already heard some of the songs.

  All Hope Is Gone Review, Complete

  I'm going to simply review the 8 songs I have, the full album review will come after the albums release because I want to keep suprised for the rest of the tracks so I dont have them (even though I could easily get them)

  1. .execute. - Just a opening track where its just noises and stuff in old Slipknot fashion so not techinally a song so I wont give it a rating.

  2. Gematria (The Killing Name) - Excluding .execute. as not a track, this is a awesome opening, good and fast paced, unlike half the album. 4/5

  3. Sulfur - 2nd favorite from the album, its good fast and just like the old Slipknot only it has melodies. "There's something inside me that feels, like breathing in sulfur!" - 5/5

  4. Psychosocial - This song is excellent from beginning to end to the beginning again. Prouble the best I've heard from the album. 5/5

  5. Dead Memories - Pretty good overall but not really Slipknot, more of a Stone Sour taste, the album seems to bring that. 4/5

  6. Vendetta - Awesome, similar to "Sulfur" it terms of the song itself, quick and good melodies. One of the best off the album. 5/5

  7. Butcher's Hook - Fast paced but the kind of fast pace from Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses). Its still pretty good. 4/5

  8. Gehenna - While a good song overall, its one of the to many on the album that belong on a Stone Sour album. In case you dont know, Stone Sour is Corey Taylor (lead singer of both bands)'s other band, which is more of the slow melodic songs with fast ones also. 4/5

  9. This Cold Black - Heavist fastest song I've heard from the album (so far) and prouble the closest to the old Slipknot but it's still not one of my favorites. It does get points for being the old "Iowa" type. 4/5

  10. Wherein Lies Continue - A great from the album, also fast with melodies. It has a good sound to it. 5/5

  11. Snuff - If you liked Vermillion, Pt. 2 you'll like this. Its similar yet different. Nice slow song just like Vermillion, Pt. 2 or Through Glass from Stone Sour. I enjoy it. 5/5

  12. All Hope Is Gone - Strange, different, hard and weird, basically a mix of everything Slipknot, but the singing is just to strange in it. 4/5

  Bonus Tracks

  13. Child of Burning Time - Awesome, it maintanes a sound sort of like Stone Sour. Hard to really explain but its a fast song but its also a slow one. But its great. 5/5

  14. Till We Die - Good overall, but its more of Stone Sour. I do like that Shawn Chahan (the one with the clown mask, and normally the back up singer/ percussionaist) did the drums for it. 4/5

  15. iTunes Pre-Order Song "Psychosocial (Live)" - Good live preformence, better than how they used to be. I really like Clown screaming Psychosocial also. 4/5

  So as you can tell, while I enjoyed the album and all songs were good to excellent, it really isn't Slipknot. While its good they've evolved its basically like Stone Sour. But I really like Stone Sour also and I am smart enough to realize they are different bands. And I also know Slipkot is entitled to slower songs but this album kind of out did it with them. For that reason I'd give the album a overall 3.5/5. While the overall reviews of the songs should make it higher I only gave it just above average for the fact its now old Slipknot. It's still worth buying. And no, I didn't get the special edition DVD like for Indestructible, I only got it from iTunes.

  Down W/ Sickness ("Child Abuse" Part Edit)

  Note: Any one fimilar with this song will know a few sentences are shortened instead of words replaced, so for that when I sing it, I'll just pause before finishing the whole sentence. Also to let everyone know, this is the extreme edit, which cuts out all the parts that involve abuse, the word "mommy", and of course the cussing, but it may be able to get a little of it back.

  Last Summer Blog and It's Full of Worthless Crap!

  First, this blog has been pre-typed about 30 minutes before posted, to make sure I get everything in it.

  All Hope Is Gone releases tomorrow which is awesome but not that awesome. I already have over half the album and its pretty good but the bad thing is school starts

  tomorrow. At least all the people on Wikipedia will stop ******** about the album. Seriousally, who the hell cares if its "This Cold Black" or "The Cold Black"? Wikidiots.

  Well I finished my summer reading last night around 12:30, then I had to get up today at 5:00 because I have to be tired so I can go to sleep early and get up at 5:00. Make

  sense? For part of the summer reading I had to either write a short story or a poem (either three short poems 12-15 lines each or one long one 40-50 lines) so I half-***ed it and

  just changed one of the songs I'd written into what I call its "Poem Version" I took alot out so it would be less than 50 lines, changed a few things that I didnt think would fit in

  the "Poem Version" and had to edit a little for language, and this is the finished product, of the already finished song. And of course when I turn it in it wont have that little

  "Poem Version" attatched:

  5. Get every Killswitch, Slipknot, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, and Metallica song I don't have. - FAILED!

  8/25/08: Only because I didnt get the Avenged Sevenfold, mostly because I dont even really like them.

  6. Get the new Futurama DVD "The Beast With a Billion Backs" - FINISHED!

  7. Learn 10 songs on drums - PASSED!

  8/25/08: Finale songs learned "Stricken, Paranoid, My Curse, Heat of the Moment (its easy!), I Stand Alone, Down With the Sickness, Wait and Bleed (but Im not that good at

  12. Finish the movie "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" (which is #2) I've actually never watched it all even though I've had the movie for years. - FAILED!

  8/25/08: Yeah I swear I never got past half way and just never finished it. Now that's sad...

  13. Reach level 30 on tv.com - FAILED

  8/25/08: Only level 25, but its at 100%? Shouldn't that be Level 26. Oh well still failed.

  14. Upload at least 50 videos on YouTube. - FAILED!

  FAILED because YouTube account was deleted.

  16. Add even more goals because at this rate I'll be done in two weeks. DONE! (Start with 17.)

  17. Become Editor for Steve Gonsalves (guy from Ghost Hunters) I so far have 8 points. - FAILED!

  18. Become Trusted Contributor for a person (leaning towards Spencer Rice or Disturbed, but mabye someone else) FAILED!

  All Hope Is Gone! Or Is It? Yeah Pretty Much, Well Mabye Not, Hell I Dont Know!!

  I'm of course pretty much refering to Slipknot's new album (again) All Hope Is Gone. The whole album is on YouTube and I have 8 of the 16 tracks (12 normal and 4 from iTunes) and from what I've heard its pretty good, but not that great.

  So from what you may or may not be able to tell, the album is good overall (so far) but it could be better. The songs themselves are pretty great, but its not exactually Slipknot. More like Slipknot's last album Vol. 3 mixing with Stone Sour's Come What(ever) May and a little bit of Slipknots first two albums "Slipknot" and "Iowa" thrown in. Overall predictions for the album 4/5.

  Next, All Hope Is NOT Gone!

  I listened to Metallica's new single The Day That Never Comes and was very very suprised, I liked it! I'll be the first to say I had no hopes for Death Magnetic but this changed my mind. Other than the drums sounding weird, played good, but sounding weird, the song was pretty great. Starts off slow like One and goes into a fast paced tune followed by a 3 minute solo at the end, yes its exactually 3 minutes with no breaks. 5/5 but I still dont know about the whole album. And anyone who might not know Suicide & Redemption is the instrumental song from the album.

  Well All Hope IS Gone!

  School starts Tuesday which sucks, sucks very much. Other than the **** load of work I will have and the stupid teachers who are only teachers cause their all 50 and cant do anything else I will be out of money because I wont be able to work as much. Plus I havent done any of the summer reading ****.

  But, All Hope Is NOT Gone!

  Theres a third Harold and Kumar movie planned! How will they top Guantanamo Bay, what with the 274 cuss words in it!?
