love the sig and banner man.. avatar is cool :D so sad that they reboot DMC with Rihanna playing as Dante :?
There is a saying that "The journey is more important than the destination." I am not sure where it came from, but it seems to carry a lot of weight with people. Some might say that it sounds like an excuse for someone who wasn't able to achieve the goals they had previously set. Others argue that the work done while attaining a goal is the more important than any end result. But which is a true statement?
I myself would prefer to go with the latter, especially after playing Borderlands Borderlands is a first-person role-playing game, a dusty slog across the planet Pandora in search of the legendary treasures of the Vault. But the journey was far more pleasant than the satisfaction you get from unlocking the vault. It took me about 18 hours to finish the game along with most of the side-quests and it was a lot of fun.
If you've still haven't decided on buying this game or you want to know more about the game, I've uploaded my gameplay videos of Borderlands on youtube...
Borderlands: My gameplay videos
Intro video(It's about the game intro and the 4 characters you get to play in the game)
Gameplay video(It's a gameplay video on the first 10 mins. of the game played by me)

I decided to change my theme and this is the new ME Dante is my favourite gaming character. He is one of the twin sons of Sparda, a demonic knight who chose to side with humanity and drive back an invasion of the human world by demons 2,000years ago. He is muscular, has silver hair and is usually seen wearing redleather jackets. He is super-powerful and is confident in his encounters with opponents, and frequently taunts boss characters before battling them. That is the reason why i like himNow I'm totally immortal. Hit me, punch me, shoot me, whatever...but I won't die8)
And this is the sig I'll be using Tell me if you like it
Also please tell me if my avatar, banner, header image are any good
Anime Update: Major Season 2(currently on hold)...It's an anime on baseball and you should look into it even though you're not a fan of Baseball.
Gaming Update: I bought Dragon Age: Originds for the PC. My first impressions from the game are that although the game looks great, I feel like I'm playing a strategic game rather than an RPG and I won't be buying any other game until I finish this(not even Modern Warfare2) coz' I prefer playing one game at a time.
Before saying bye-bye, I'll ask the same question I've asked at the start...Do you all feel that the journey is now becoming more important than the destination?
That's it for now..Thanks for reading/watching/rating/commenting
We track each other and i haven't commented in one of your blogs:P, this is my first comment:D. My answer: Yes, the journey is way more than the destination, because the experiences during it are awesome and sometimes epic;).
That saying is awesome haha, I really like your sig it looks great. The journey is more important because you feel mixed emotions while at the ending you might just feel one emotion, so imo the journey is much more important.
@campbell153: Hiii:D:D I'm currently taking a short break from gaming. But before that i was playing Divinity2, The Saboteur, DiRT and i'll be playing DiRT2 and Dark Void next8) I play all genres of games and you can send me a PM if you wanna talk to me;)
i just wrote a piece on speed running on my blog stating in that sport its a 2 b that important . but i agree in general the journey is important
You totally laughed didn't you? o_o I bet you did. I knew I sounded silly. Mm, not so much taking it personally as I was trying to use personal experience to give a less drastic example. I'm no good at being creative so I have to use things I know as facts for examples. Also so I can't be contradicted. Some people would get offended by the Holocaust example, so I used my own example just in case you got angry about that, which it seems you didn't. If you did though, my own example would have been what proved the Holocaust example was of no ill intention. Therefore, you wouldn't be inclined to make any inquisitive remarks back, the kind I try to avoid, which I was. :? That make sense...? No, I don't think it did... My apologies. T.T I tried. ... Since you used multiple words with the same general concept I'm going to assume you meant literal definitions of each in which case I think: The process is not more important than the product unless you are the producer, the act of creating is more important than the creation, and working hard & joyfully at something is only more important than the result of that work if the result does not bring them more joy than the work did. ... Did you want me to elaborate on that? >.>
@Ikhzo: Fine then, but you reply me on your pm ok? :angersome: *achem* (lvl2 - madara level, le immature philosopher) The journey/process(let's call it jp#) and destination/product(D), aren't that seperate one from another because it's like a coin with two sides, but all one the same coin, one side cannot without the other. So if jp# is a vanilla icecream and D is a chocolate one... no wait, forget that-_-... erm... if jp# is food, and D is eating... what if you start vomiting in middle of jp#? The D would turn into a toilet rather than food;) and the jp# would be vomiting:lol: now i could endlessly continue to give you other examples but i'll let your imagination think of all possibilities that can happen, and then tell me if a jp# and D are necessarily separate terms, or are they of flexible comprehention. You were therefore basically asking if it was more important to be hingry or to eat:P
@ikhzo: ahh.. look, I prefer to stay on lvl1 or 2 (out of 7) of my potentil while on the net. Only a few ppl drove me to 3 or 4. Besides your not a philosopher, are ya? Youre a gud guy:P So I thought that would be enough,I mean it's not liek i'm commenting on Hablo's blog:(
@RoseFlambe169: :P You kinda took things ppersonally in the end. I'll put it in a much simpler way so that you won't get over-excited:P Is the process more important than the product? Is the act of creating more important than the creation? Is any working hard and joyfully at something more important than the result of that work? This will help you be a lot more rational:) @spirit7someguy: >> That was a half-hearted attempt. I didn't get your circle point. Try harder.... @naju890_963: A lot happened you know. I was killed in the Gamers Planet by heavenboy and before i could say anything, they even made a memorial for me:P I'll send you a PM giving you the details;)
WOA!O_O *points up in the air* this guy looks...khm... enthusiastic ;) jus saying, you decide... Oh and to reply on your journey comment. I actually dont think the journey and destination such are seperate phrases. I see it all moving in a circle... maybe too fast say which is which imo:P
Well alright... Just remember, you asked for it. :P As stated before, it all depends on what sort of journey. Some things like a journey to the grave, or a journey to that final cut scene offer much more than the final product. I think it's actually true in most cases if you think about the whole love and loss concept. However, take one rare instance, where not only are you thrown unprepared into a situation, but something of extreme value lies at the end. The Holocaust for example. If you died, that journey was in vain, your life invaluable. Either way though, life post-liberation I'm sure was way more important than what was learned in those camps. Whatever those people learned was most likely about society, and on a large scale. Things that even learned could not be effectively implemented without agreement in the masses. On a less severe scale I'm going to say an unnecessary elective. I'm not going to live or participate in Hawaii after high school. In which case, I find whatever I learn in my Hawaiian history class to be less important than the credit I receive for completing it. Even more so in that I am of no Hawaiian heritage. Anyways, I think it really just depends on the situation. If you've taken a journey and gotten more from it than whatever lies at the destination, the journey is more important. ... See. I sounded silly and that was probably a headache to read. I'm sorry.
Sadly, no. I only the first song downloaded, but I'll get to getting the rest of the songs all the way until the Johto season. :o
@soulless4now: Don't tell me you don't have that song on your player:o @spirit7someguy: No, not you. I know you pretty well and so it doesn't matter whom you change to...same with swimmer, Bari and others i know pretty well..even Felt:x
Hey based on one of your previous comments, do you imagine me as a lion?:o I'm glad ya liked the rhyme but i'll start makin them again by the end of the year. And yes, i'd prefer various characters like goku, dante or whoever, or various environments. But ok it's your stile and i likes it:).
It's kinda true, I have an important goal and I'm taking a journey and yeah, I've learned lots of stuffs...but I can't wait to reach my goal :D.
@RoseFlambe169: No, I'm serious. I'm ready for whatever you throw at me:) @david_lck: Thanks:) and yeah Dragon Age is very good, you should give it a try;) @soulless4now: I played for more than 20 hours now and it's great:o I'll definitely play it again:D and for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWiN2_nQdQs @spongebobfan_17: You should go on a journey then;) The journey takes longer than the destination, you learn a lot of new things and have a lot of fun..So i feel that the journey's more important...
"The journey is more important than the destination" is probably a touching phrase, I have no idea if it's true, but I doubt it.
That's not bad at all then. You'll probably finish around 50 hours or so. :o Very true. I always just the thought the johto song was cute for some odd reason.
First of all, I like what you did with the Dante theme - its awesome and fits your profile perfectly. Its great that you got Dragon Age, heard its pretty good. :)
@RoseFlambe169: and what about in real life?? and i had to be immortal this time:P and plz let's have a debate:) @spirit7someguy: You mean, I should have Dante, Goku and others in one single theme?? Is that what you mean:? @Schultz38: You said it8) and i think you're the most religious person on GS. You have my respect for that:) don't worry though, you're journey would be great;)
@n-re: Ohh..i see:| Like i said before it looks great, but I kinda got used to your previous icon. Call me naive if you want to, but I imagine people based on their avy. So I feel like I'm talking to a totally different person now:? @LordKingboat: Yes it is SIR!!:D @kairikh: Thanks:D:D maybe you'll have fun playing Borderlands too;) but play Dragon Age first..It's awesome!! @Kleeyook: Thanks:D I subscribed to your channel too:D:D
@soulless4now: I played about 12 hours and the stats say that I've played only 10% of the game:o and yeah..nice song:D the first one will always be epic *sings with you* @TristanH12: Let's see, where do i start from... For starters you get to choose between a warrior, rouge or a mage. Each character has a special feature which the other can't do. For eg. only a rouge can unlock chests..a warrior can't pick a lock no matter how much he levels up and so on... there are also 3 different classes...Human, dwarf and an elf and the story would probably be diff. for different classes. I chose human:D If you wish to know more, I would be glad to let you know;) @hazelnutman: Yeah, It looks great:D I hardly used gilgamesh in DMC4 though:P @Katzenbalger: Thanks:D I know8)
@xlovedust: Yess..Rightly said. and thanks:D @theslimdavylp: I've had previous experience of playing as Dante in DMC3, so i was dying to play as him:P and i feel only a pro can handle Dante in DMC4. And BTW i heard that Vergil(Dante's twin brother) would be back in DMC5.. @Nightmare_Fan17: Yes, he's DANTE. You'll come to know why he's my fav after you play DevilMayCry4:D and i love adverture games too;)..and abt the journey, what would you do if there was no epic treasure at the end:? @ebbderelict: Glad to know that. Infact i don't mind if the conversation isn't friendly. I just want people to speak their mind without worrying about my reaction. I won't bite you know:P @spirit7someguy: Great rhyme, I wish you would do more of these:( and i don't think i can beat you at rhymes:P
I like the sig:D Really cool8) Hmmm. Well, as a Christian, my destination is Heaven. My journey could be crap as long as I live for Jesus and make it to Heaven. But, I want to have a journey too:D
By various characters I mean not only Dante but maybe add some more... but its ok i like your stile.. And answer my pm Kaka!!
Video game wise, yes. Playing the game is usually so much better than getting to the actual end. Quite enjoyed the videos. I dun' get that whole rate, comment, subscribe, friend thing, but if you say so... It's a good thing you're immortal now, 'cause pull off one more stunt like that and bugbag will go nutzo. The new look is great. You really hit the nail on the head. (: I don't think I'm going to say any more on that question. I sound stupid when I'm debating philosophical inquiry. :P
u kno b4 i was even gonna read this i was gonna say omg i love ur theme Dante freakin roxx and ur banner is AMAZING :D lol nice borderlands gameplay btw!! and to answer your question it depends where the journey's headed and who im goin with :D but journey takes longer than the destination so it definitely should be made the best of
Oh I see. DA Origins should be more than twice (hopefully :P). I was singing the Johto theme. It's like my second favorite right after the first one since that one will always be epic. xD
Your new Avatar, Banner, and other stuff look cool to me! :D Ah so that's who Dante is. :P Wow I should try and get that game someday. 8) I also should check out Borderlands too. They sound like some epic adventure games man. 8) I love playing Adventure Games and collecting stuff, and inceasing your power and defense and stuff. 8) I'd say Journeying and the Destination are equally important cuz you have fun going places on your journey and coming across all sorts of things, and the destination is the place you want to be at and it can be a really awesome place and be one epic final confrontation... Hee hee hee... or have some epic treasure! :D
I was like that at first too! When they first switch you from Nero to Dante, I was like wtf, I want to play as Nero! But as the game went on, I got better with Dante and I loved playing as him... I have no idea when DMC5 comes out unfortunately
I like your sig! I think that the journey is quite important regarding what learning experiences you take from it and which path you decide to take. It makes the destination worthwhile. :)
@spirit7someguy: You and your Vlad:P and what if you would never know abt the destination, then what would you do?? and what do you mean by various characters in "pics":? @theslimdavylp: Yeah, Dante was far more enjoyable to play than Nero...although some prefer otherwise and do you have any idea when DMC5 is gonna be out:? @riou7: Yessssss:D Dante rocks8) @ebbderelict: OK...Too bad the argument had to end:(
