"Just plain fun" Mercenaries: playground of destruction at first looks like any other sandbox game. Well okay maybe it is like GTA or some other sandbox game but its different which makes it special. What i mean by different is that YOU play as mercenary instead of someone in the mafia like most other sandbox games such as GTA, Mafia or scarface.
Even though mercenaries can tend to be just as ruthless as the mafia you have a sense of wanting to help certain factions in the game but ot others. The game starts you out in a plane on your way to north korea.
The reason you are on your way to north korea is because north korea started a conflict with several other factions and you have been sent in to help.
Anyway back to the game there are six factions consisting of Allies, china, mafia, south korea and north korea. And Wether they are your Allies or not is up to you. Depending on Wether you are enemies or allies with each one will determine what happens in the game.
The main faction you will be working for is the allies which are trying to take down general song (the head bad guy) and his accomplices, which are made out into a deck of 52 in which you have to take them down one by one.
The games vehicles are fun to drive, which you can get by either hijacking a vehicle on the road or going to merchant of menace which is owned by the mafia and you can buy stuff from them To get money you either have to destroy a vehicle take a vehicle to sell to the mafia and capturing one of the deck of 52
you can also buy weapon supplies health and airstrikes.
The games sound is okay but a lot of times the guns sound really dull There is music in the game but it so quiet that you never really notice.
The games graphics are very nice but suffers heavily from a very noticable brown dull haze which is not very nice.
There is no multiplayer however but i dont think the game would be able to due to being a sandbox game.
Graphics: 8.0/10
sound: 8.7/10
gameplay: 9.7/10
Multiplayer: 0.0/10
tilt: 9.5/10
Funness factor: 10/10
I know probably lots of people are asking this question but its my turn to ask
What ONE game are you looking forwards to most (note i said ONE)
The topic is why in the heck do they rate games and movies for blood and gore
Is it just me or am i not understanding why they rate game for blood and gore
I mean you have blood and guts if games are rated for blood and gore then all humans should be rated M
Think about it everybody has seen blood and even guts people see it everyday so WHY ARE GAMES RATED FOR BLOOD AND GORE
