This game took MANY hours away from. I saw another guy on the tube playing it, looking at me knowingly. And yes, Greenland is a bastard.
I had never heard of this game. If for nothing else, this blog was totally worth reading for that recommendation.
I'll have to make a counter recommendation for the iOS then- how about Dragonvale? It's a decent game if you enjoy Sim games mixed with a bit of Harvest Moon and Pokemon, and it's free.
But in Greenland, if the diseases don't get you the alcoholism will. Which depending on who you ask, is a disease too. So I guess this sim is wrong. Also Greenland has the highest suicide rate per capita than anywhere else in the world.
@cynicalundead I was in a hotel in Sweden. Next to a mirror there was a sign in English that read "In case of thoughts of suicide call this number:...."
Greenland has ruined many games for me. I find that if I start the plague in Russia, I tend to have more of a chance of it spreading to Greenland without having to actually start it off in a basically empty country.
that iceberg that is supposedly breaking off from Greenland is really beginning of the icelandic Zombie attack fleet.
they are wearing their white winter camo and using the camoflauge dead head troop carrier.
Since they don't need a hold for food supplies they can carry an extra zombie shock/shlock? attack force
that's only taking into account that the zombie or virus outbreak doesn't start at Greenland. If that's where it comes from then were royally screwed
Tassa mamaq! ? meaning Yummy in Greenlandic. The last words you will hear as Greenlander zombies eat your brains!
It seems island nations with relatively poor transit to the rest of the world are safest in times of lethal global outbreak. Greenland here I come!
When I play the Flash game Pandemic II Greenland, China, or Madagascar are the ones that usually survive.
Another usefull fact to store in my mind for later use. One never know when information like this is going to be needed.
