  Soon I will be .........

  ...... roasting at home. And it won't be chicken!!!

  And what will I be roasting you ask? Those of you that have been coming to my blogs for awhile know that I like coffee a little bit . Oh, okay. I LIKE COFFEE A LOT!!!! I have done blogs on coffee. How coffee is processed, roasted, cupped, experimented with blending beans for espresso, gone on espresso induced insanity spam rages!!! I have controlled armies of espresso monkeys, squirrels on coffee

  

  Bwahhhh, bwwwahhhhh, meowraahhhh!!!!!

  

  I have done a blog on the mysterious Kopi Luwak.

  And as of this writing, since that blog, I have had authentic Kopi Luwak on 2 occasions!!!

  I have done numerous coffee tastings for Starbucks ( and I have never been an employee there) helping them in educating customers on the wonderful world of coffee. Heck, when I go in a local Starbucks the employees ask me questions about coffee!!! And the local stores even made me an honorary coffee master, giving me the much desired "black apron" that only employees receive after going thru an extensive training program. Sounds like I am bragging but I am not. I just know coffee!!!

  Heck. For me a normal day starts with 4 to 10 doubles of espresso!!!

  
  

  I have had coffee from all regions of the world, more countries than I can remember and I consume close to 100 lbs or more of coffee in a year!!! But I think there are probably people out there that drink more!!!

  And that brings us to this blog. Um..... I forgot why I started this blog!! I need to drink some more espresso, oh wait, What the?! Shut up!! I do what the espresso tells me!!!! Are you finished? YES!!

  AH yeah!!! I am going to start roasting coffee at home!!! Ta Da!! I have had some experience learning from a local roaster and now I feel it is time for the next step. I can get into doing roasting at home dirt cheap. I am going to start by roasting on my stovetop with this device.

  

  It is also used to make popcorn on your stovetop!! But hey, for a mere $25 I will be roasting green coffee at home. I will install a thermometer in it to keep an eye on the temps while I am roasting. I have a gas stove so that will make it easier to control the temps. Most green coffee runs about $5 a pound compared to $12 to $20 a pound for already roasted coffee.

  ...... be a can of Coca-Cola or a can of Pepsi, which would you be?

  I would not be either because I don't drink sodas!!!!

  But you dear friends must become one of the two. Which do you choose and why.

  In other news. Still have not been able to fix the problem with the home PC so once again my daughter's laptop has gone missing!! Bwwwwahhhh , bwwwahhhhhh!! Meowarrrraaahhh!

  

  Still in other news. This Sunday is Super Bowl weekend. Its the Colts vs the Saints. I want the Saints to win as it is their first time to the Super Bowl. I will also be throwing my usual Super Bowl party where we consume massive amounts of junk food and beverages. You are all invited!!!

  If you could..... #2

  ......be any cheese, what type of cheese would you be?

  Wow. Just think about that question for a minute or two. The delicious wonderful world of cheese. So many great cheeses to choose from.

  "Hello, good sir. Do you like cheese?"

  

  Yes. Who doesn't like cheese?!"

  " I can haz cheez plweez?!"

  cannot resist the power of cheese!!!

  Given all the great cheeses to choose from ( because there are cheeses for all occasions) today I would be a nice Vermont White Cheddar.

  

  Or even better. I would be the English Farmhouse Cheddar produced by a company in England. The exquisite Dorset Drum. Aged to perfection and hand dipped in black wax, this is hands down the best cheddar ever!!!!

  

  How about you? What kind of cheese would you be?
