I was standing in a line at the arcade. The line was rather long for this particular game and the arcade had 6 machines. All of the machines had long lines. I had probably been standing in line about 10 minutes when I thought, "It would be really great if they could bring this game to the NES."

Not long after that my dream came true. Then I found myself standing in another line. The one in front of KayBee Toy Store. The line was incredibly huge!!! It was 4 deep!!! And guess what. There had been a rumor going around that this store was only getting 3 copies!!! Of course that was just a rumor. Back in these days there was never a shortage of a title. Also. Their were no stabbings or muggings on game day release. No my dear friends. These were peaceful times in the game world. Twenty years ago a game could develop a somewhat cult-like following in the arcades and then later, the NES would see it and then you would see people standing in lines, sometimes 10 deep, waiting for a store to open so they could get their cherished home version of the game.

What made this game so cool at the time was you could level up your skills. You had a counter and everytime your score went over 999, a heart would appear indicating you had gone up a level. Then the counter would start over. There are 7 levels of skill. Each level gives you a cool new skill. Like the ability to do a hair-pull kick, or a over-the-shoulder throw. You could also use weapons like knives, rocks, dynamite, whips, and some others. Sorry PJ24 , no shotguns!!

The enemies are also cool and the Big Boss has a machine gun. But the guy I hate the most is: Abobo (cool name)

I did a review on this game some time ago and gave it a 10. Yes. I love the game that much. The reason I am mentioning this game is: It is now available on the Virtual Console on the Wii for a mere 500 points. A great deal for a cla$$ic game!! Also another reason why VixDiesel needs to buy a Wii !!

I am so bad at fishing that I can't even catch a fish in the game Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!!!

When I was younger and I would go fishing with my sister, she would always catch the fish. She could put anything on her hook. Bubble gum, cheez puffs, macaroni, anything. She would catch the fish!!! She could talk and sing. She would catch the fish!!!

Even people fishing for their first time ever catch fish.

After all these years I am still unable to catch a

I mean, everyone can catch fish. Well, except maybe this cat!!!

The 3rd thing you don't know about me is:

I have BIG (not my feet in the pic.)

My feet are so big they would not fit into this blog!!! I wear size 12. And my left foot is actually about 12 1/2 inches. I think that is about 46 or 47 cm for those of you on the metric system. Yes. Big feet.

And you know what that means.....BIG

And now I want to thank all who wished me well on my recent eye surgery. It came out fine. My left eye is not 100% and it might take about a week before my vision in that eye is perfect. And there is a small chance it might not be perfect. The doctor told me that due to my severe astigmatism in that eye that he might not be able to correct it to 100%. If not, I might were a contact lense with a small amount of correction to make up the difference. Thats okay. The important thing is, no more spotty, blurry vision. My transformation to Bionic Espresso Man is now complete!!!!

I have been using my new mad bionic vision skillz to play a lot of Mario Kart Wii.

Sometimes I go so fast I get bugs in my teeth!!

In other news. My quest to uncover Yagr_Zero identity continues. It appears the picture I posted of him in my last blog was....NOT HIM!!! My stoopid flying espresso monkeys gave me the wrong info!!! It is so hard to find good monkey help these days.

Anyway. My undercover espresso monkeys have secretly taken a picture of him drinking!!!

For those of you still wondering what my job is. Due to the sensitive nature of my eye surgery I am not allowed to lift heavy items and limit my exposure to dust, cut grass and such. I will be off from work until next Friday!!!! It is also very important for me to be able to see well as I read a lot. So with those clues you should be able to figure it out. s0njas0n , not a word out of you!!!

And if it helps you any, I was also once spit at by a while doing my job. But I still think you should kiss a llama. I feel they are misunderstood and require your love!!!

Give me a moment. I am looking for the 2nd thing you don't know about me. Oh. Here it is.

The 2nd thing you don't know about me......drum roll please!!!!

My right is bionic!!!

Sort of. You see( no pun intended) about 2 years ago I had cataract surgery in my right eye, or in the medical world, inter-ocular lens replacement. For those of you too young to know what a cataract is: the lens in your eye becomes clouded over making it difficult to see. Your vision becomes blurred. The surgery is pretty simple and is treated as an outpatient procedure. You are given an IV where they either give you a general anesthesia or a sedative to relax you. If they do the general anesthesia you are out for about 10 minutes and during that time they give you a shot behind your eye. This is a local block. This numbs the eye and prevents you from seeing. Then, you wake up in the surgery room while they are operating on your eye. The actual surgery takes about 20 minutes. You then go home and usually within 12 hours you are seeing again. I now have perfect far vision in my right eye!!!! Amazing stuff. Which brings us to :

TOMORROW

Yes. Tomorrow I am having cataract surgery on my left eye!! The doctor will do it a little different in that I will be awake the WHOLE time!!!! He will give me a sedative to relax and then place drops in my eye which numbs the eye. While I will have no feeling in my eye, the doctor said I will still be able to see light and shadows but the vision will be blurred. How cool is that?!

So, after my surgery tomorrow........I will have 2 bionic eyes and then my transformation into Bionic Espresso Man will be complete!!!!

So with a new set of eyes and my........uh....yes I know that is the wrong picture!! I can't explain why this keeps happening but I figured that picture is better than this picture.

Anyway. Got Mario Kart Wii yesterday and I am having a blast.

I have still been unable to connect with friends in Brawl but hopefully I will connect eventually and then not only Brawl but race. I have some mad racing skillz and with my Bionic Eyes and Espresso speed you will never beat me!!!

I have reason to believe that this is what Yagr_Zero really looks like. When my flying espresso monkeys came back from there last mission, they had spotted this boy hanging around the train station in Cincy. We all knowYaggie is an engineer!!!! So it was easy for me to deduce that this boy is Yagr_Zero !!!

Soon, with the aid of my espresso monkeys, Yaggie will be receiving his espresso injection and then he will be in my total control!!!! Bwwwahhh, bwaahh,,,bwqewaahh!!!

And in case you were wondering, YES!!!! I have had a lot of espresso this morning!!!

Oh and one more thing. I am now starting a campaign to force VixDiesel to buy a Wii. For some reason she is showing major resistance to purchasing one of these fine consoles. Once she has a Wii she can use her PS3 for a doorstop or a speed bump in a parking lot!!

I have returned, but probably only for a moment. You don't really need to hear about how busy I have been, but, it mostly has to do with working my day off and all-things coffee.
