What better time to start my blog, than on my 6th anniversary at GameSpot.com.

On this day six years ago, I came looking for some good quality videos of SSX 3, which had recently been revealed at E3. Having picked up SSX when I bought my PS2 in February 2001, and dabbling into SSX Tricky upon its release, I was very excited for another entry in the excellent snowboarding series. GameSpot seemed to have the best quality video, so I signed up and got downloading.

I never planned on staying at GS, which explains my rubbish username (basically some letters from my name) and only visited every now and again, but slowly enjoyed the impressive depth of coverage the site offered and community features. Apart from the first 3 months of 2009, I've been a regular visitor and don't plan on leaving any time soon.

Now, with E3 2009 nearly upon us, I'm really hoping EA Sports BIG came out and announce SSX 5, building on SSX 3s open mountain concept, but for current gen consoles. Failing this, I would gladly enjoy SSX 3 HD as a PSN/XBL download.
