    My mother earth

Tonight i walked home with a greatly expanded mind. It was a beautiful quiet evening in the suburbs. For the most part it was the perfect temperature. I could taste a small tiny amount of humidity. It gave the surrounding air substance. Helping further immerse my mind into the night. As i walked i took a second to actually tell my self to open up to the world around me and just let the sights and sounds flow in freely.

The night seemed to pack nature full of cats. While i was walking back from the park i saw the same cat from earlier in the night. the cat was sleeping on a drive way. The only difference was earlier this cat was with buddy. While walking on a very long straight of sidewalk, i had noticed another cat. The cat was about 50 yards ahead. This cat would keep running and stopping every few feet. He would either lay down or just sit there and look back at me. For the life of me i couldn't tell what this cat was doing. So i walked eagerly waiting to get up to speed with it.When i finally caught up to the cat, it turned out to be the cat who was with the sleeping  one earlier in the night. I walked along with the cat (he was on the other side of the street) I noticed a small dark mouse running out from under the cats paws. Every time it got free the cat would catch it again. I walked i wondered if the mouse would make it out alive. I understood that the cat wasn't out to kill the mouse. It was simply just playing with. I wondered if the cat knew exactly what it was doing and had no intentions to harm the mouse. All of these things just helped me think about life for the rest of the walk home (lol typical).

My walk continued. I was covered in cob webs. Brushing didn't seem to remove all of them. So as I walked I could feel them across my arms. This just added to my whole experience.
