I was at Coles yesterday afternoon, when I walked by this Easter chocolate, that just so happened to look a lot like a Chocobo out of the Final Fantasy series! Now we've seen plenty of soft-drink promotions before, but I wonder how long it will be until we see Easter eggs based off game characters?

p.s. It looks like the image isn't showing properly, if that's the case you can see it here. -

So, you might have heard that cliffy_b on Twitter has been renamed to Fakecliffy_b and shut down. In light of this, I thought it would be appropriate to post my favourite picture from his micro-blog.

I guess this one is more for the Metal Gear fans, but I just thought I'd give a shout out to the guys at Hive Division who are making an awesome looking Metal Gear fan-movie. I've been following it for quite a while and it's shaping up quite nicely. It's not often that you see a fan movie with kick-butt computer animation! Anyway, the film is set between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, while Snake is a member of the terrorist organisation Philanthropy (that just happens to be endorsed by the UN, so go figure!). Enjoy the trailer!

So, like many good ideas, the idea of buying a boat was thought up after a late night out. Skip ahead a week and there's a boat sitting in my driveway! As I promised in last month's pick-up thread in the AU board, here are some pictures that were taken a few weeks ago out on the water.

Me in the water, after just putting the wakeboard on and being thrown the rope.

Standing up...just like a pro. What isn't shown, is the massive stack afterwards!
An action shot of the engine and wake.

Two of my friends riding the tube.
Me driving the boat.

Prisoner of Society is in Guitar Hero World Tour. This is probably the best news I've heard all week and I've heard some pretty good news.

I hope so, because THQ love them. Yesterday they announced that two separate CE versions will be available for Saints Row 2. Click here for more details.
I hate to say it, but I'm a sucker for those things. I have four games pre-ordered currently and all four are for the CE editions.

Here are just a couple of ideas that are floating around in the vast nothingness of my head:
*Sahara Hotnights are an awesome band. They're from Sweden and are really fun to listen to, check out the video clip below for an example.
*Skate is damn good. I finally got around to picking it up the other day from JB Hi-Fi and have been having a ball with it ever since. Crashing the skater into cars to see how many bones he breaks will never get old.
*Don't crucify me for it, but The Dark Knight is hardly the greatest film ever. It's really good, but we all know that the "Greatest Film Ever" title is reserved for Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, or The Godfather.
*I'm undecided if I want to enter the Sydney Tower fun-run--1504 steps is a lot of stairs!
*My laptop DVD drive has just kicked the bucket on the weekend, making waiting for next year's MacBook Pro revision that much harder.
*It might not have been a very good game, but it's sad to see the Fury servers finally close. Fury was one of the most anticipated games to come out of Australia and it's a real shame to see it fail.Cheers,
Koz

Here's the picture I posted in this month's Pick-Ups thread. Now all I need is a lab coat, then I could be one of those sweet zombie scientists from Half-Life.

That's about as mathematical this blog is ever going to get. If you're after maths, you've come to the wrong place
. Anyway, if you've been following the OzSpot lately, you'll probably know that I was bravedumb enough to ask people to send in their suggestions for a food combination and I'd eat on the next podcast. We'll, yesterday I put my money where my mouth is and ate liver pate mixed with chocolate sauce and cherries. If that wasn't bad enough, I thought I'd add some creaming soda to the mix, to "enhance" the flavour. To check it out, click here to listen to the latest podcast.
