    Wii Weekend..........

The weekend has come and go, with the Wii coming in Friday.

I will say this about the system: the controls are a bit innovate, pretty cool too. Almost like using a mouse on your TV screen. It's definitely a whole different way to gaming and it has a lot of good games (family wise) to play. Of course, if you get mesmerised by graphics, the Wii is pretty good in that category.

If only fanboys would put their childish crap beside for ALL systems cause none of them are better than the other. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. The Wii for starters, while it has a good library and all, it lacks Rated M games for sure. Plus the Wiimote isn't good for CERTAIN games that require a controller. PS3, you guys know my thoughts on that system. Xbox 360 would be good if not for that Ring of Death it has. Oh well.

Right now I haven't gotten any Wii points, so no Internet connection for me yet. Not to mention me having to reset this piece of junk of a modem that our Internet provider. UGH. They better give me a good explanation on why this is happening too.

    Anyways, quick game review short:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (8.0): 16% of Subspace done, need to get used to the GameCube controls and overall speed/challenge of the game.

Mario Kart Wii (8.4): My guilty pleasure over the weekend, along with unlocking a lot of crap from the game too. AND THERE'S A LOT TO UNLOCK TOO.

Super Mario Galaxy (8.9): Addictive, kinda on the straightforward and somewhat easy side. Should not be called Best Mario Game ever, but should be called Most Epic Mario Adventure. They really outdid themselves with Mario this time. Kinda makes me forget about Sunshine, yet it can't beat Super Mario 64. No way.

Hopefully by the end of the week, I can at least show you something from both Galaxy and Mario Kart. In the meantime, laters.

    No. 24 for yours truly.........

Look at me, I'm Jack Bauer

Nah seriously. Today is my birthday for those who know me here for the first time (and a gentle reminder for everyone else). I'm 24 years old right now (hence the little joke), happy to stay alive long enough to reach this day, hoping that I will be spared to reach my quarter milestone. It's a shame several young people in my country (mostly males) don't live long enough to reach 25). It's true, the youth is dying out quicker than the elderly down here. Heaven help them all.

Also, remember that I said another sibling would be on the way? Well, seems like my new brother (yeah I heard which gender it was gonna be months ago) is gonna be born today, if things go well. Heh, 2 sons born on the same day within a 2.5 decade difference. How often does that happen? Kinda scary too.

In any event, no foul deeds are gonna spoil my day. Later, peoples. I am off to work.

    Two New PS2 Games............

What was suppose to be buying only Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, ended with me buying another game to go with it too.

Yeah, both Fire Pro Wrestling Returns......AND Def Jam: Fight For New York. Started creating wrestlers for Fire Pro, and accomplished 37% of Story Mode (on easy mode sadly). The controls for Def Jam felt like the WCW/nWo Revenge days, yet it's kinda annoying to block some attacks at times. Still eager to finish Def Jam, though afterwards, they might not be enough left to do since single-player in games can get boring at times.

Anyways, sleep has easily become my enemy right now. Laters.
