Well, I haven't made a blog in a really long time and the reason is because I've been preparing to go to Iwakuni Japan. Now, I'm here and I'll let you know of any new exciting things that may or may not happen to me. For the meantime, I will post a few pics of traveling over and a blog to my wife showing her my room. The main culprit for this has been Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. I've gotten back into playing and I have four main characters: An Amazon (Bowazon), A Paladin (Hammerdin), A Barbarian (Haven't decided what way to go with him yet), and a Necromancer that needs some leveling up before I decide what to do. I am on pretty much every waking, spare moment that I have. I am either just magic finding in Act 5 or leveling up my merc for whatever character I'm using.

And this my friends is a very good reason why I should not play WoW. I would be totally obsessed with it and I know it.

I'm just curious about this...I've been stuck on 84.73 something % for like three days now!!! I know it is no huge tragedy to the world at large or even to small communities, but it means something to me. What did I do Gamespot??? I swear I can change...I'll do whatever you want! Really, I can make it better, you'll see...we'll be happy again.

Just don't let it end like this...it will be like it was in the beginning, we'll be happy again together, you remember what good times we had back then don't you? It will be like that all over again I swear.

And I Simpsonized myself to show everyone what I sort of look like. The banner is nothing special or fancy but it represents much of what I like. I didn't include the Simpsons stuff since I put up the new avatar. That was all.

Yesterday made it official. We have been in Beaufort, SC for one month now. I've fully checked in to my new squadron. I'm PT'ing (exercising/working out) on a daily basis now, have gotten to know how things work around the area again, and I've gotten to know the shop.

We are on a 96 hour holiday right now to celebrate Labor Day. I've always found that curious, we celebrate a "Labor" Day by not showing up to work, except for the services that are vital to our survival: EMS, Police, Fire, and Wal-Mart.

My computer room is all set up now with two laptops and the main machine. I'm waiting on a new power supply to get my 900MHZ machine up and running again. Having wireless in the house doesn't feel much different really except on Sundays when I'm watching NASCAR and I want to listen to the driver radios and watch TrackPass® on NASCAR.com. It is nice to have the option to grab the new laptop and sit in the living room, bedroom, or even the back porch.

It's been awhile and for good reason. For the last two weeks, family and me have been moving into a new house in South Carolina. I'm back where I was three years ago and very glad to be here. This will more than likely be my last duty station for my career which will finish with more than twenty years in the Marine Corps at the end of 2009.

The new house is MUCH nicer than the one we had in North Carolina. It's bigger, brighter, and much quieter. Carpet, you have to have carpet and this one has it wall to wall. We have 4 bedrooms which we will need for the new baby that is due at the end of January 2008. But we have plenty of room here. I've even got my office again for the computers and putting all my "collectibles" on the walls and storing my stuff. It looks really good in there now. I'm proud of it. I'll probably post some pics of it later on.

And come Tuesday or so, I'm looking forward to receiving my new (to me) laptop in the mail that I managed to win on eBay. We'll see how that works out when I get it with the docking station I found at work.
