Ninja Gaiden players. If you're observant as I am, you'll notice that Ryu Hayabusa stands while battling even when he's pacing. Ninjas, in this video game at least, crouch while fighting. Why doesn't Mr. Hayabusa crouch while fighting? Isn't he a ninja? If so he's probably one of the most manliest ninjas out there since he can take on the entire Black Spider Clan at once.
Another great week in gaming for me, I played many difficult video games during this session, and I'll admit this lineup was too hard.
(1) Final Fantasy IX: SPOILER: I finally reached the final chapter in this video game, and I had a difficult time reaching Kuja the 2nd to last boss. Obviously it was much easier reaching the final battle since this is my 2nd time through although the monsters seemed a lot more stronger than last time. Probably my first time through FFIX I thought it was a lot easier than it really was. This video game isn't easy.
(2) Final Fantasy XII: Due to the difficult lineup of video games, and my engrossment /w Ninja Gaiden II, I wasn't able to get too involved. I picked it up, and played it during the late night. This is the time I choose to play this video game for some reason. It makes me think about reading...a lot. I wanted to play it, but I didn't have the stamina because of the rigorous amount of work that needed to be put into the other video games.
(3) Ninja Gaiden II: I've been having a difficult time getting through this video game, a lot harder time than I had expected. Maybe I should've started this game on "Acolyte" instead of "Warrior"? I was pondering this question during the typing of another blog entry. I'm still on chapter 6. This game is beatable, and I probably will beat the video game. I think I need to focus on better timing when it comes to parrying, and evasion though if I want to progress more.
(4) Dragonball Z: Burst Limit: An easy violent video game that I've been playing that I'm quickly growing wary of. Being a new video game I think I'll give it another chance next week, and if it fails to entertain it will be shuffled amongst my stack of other video games for a while. I was thinking maybe I should've just rented it, but it's a lengthy video game so the it's a "buy".
(5) Shadow Hearts: Covenant: An enjoyable video game. The music, the battle system, and the character designs keep me coming back and sitting on my chair to play more.
(6) Final Fantasy Tactics: Grimoire Of The Rift: I haven't been playing this video game, and others, much since I've been searching for a new job, and my main focus for playing has been (4) and (3). I will give this video game another chance...eventually.
What should I play next?: Well, I'm not absolutely sure as of yet. I've picked out a few games that I'm interested in playing. I plan on connecting to the X Box Live server and playing amongst X Box Livers again. I've had a rather long abscence from the server. Other than that my blog readers will just have to wait and see what I'm going to play next tomorrow.
I've decided to call my "Gaming Updates" Gaming Checkups. Why? It didn't make much sense to call them gaming updates. My gaming updates are when I change my gaming catalog. Now I'm questioning whether I should change this list on Fridays instead of Wednesdays. I think I will this week depending on how much longer I can enjoy this current one as of now.
Hope to comment on your blog entries, as I would like to comment on yours.
A great gaming week for me. I finally finished up a few chapters in some of the chosen video games.
Shadow Hearts: Covenant is an excellent video game. I'm enjoying the intricate battle system, and the beautiful music. However, the characters are boring. Yuri although flexible and combastic, he's a lame character. Karin doesn't have the physique of a fighter either so she seems somewhat out of place.
Went back to playing Devil May Cry 3, and I'm somewhat enlightened. Devil May Cry 4 might be better than DMC 3 in some ways. The game is easier than I thought it would've been on hard. In fact, I stand corrected, Devil May Cry 4 is tougher than Devil May Cry 3. DMC 4 is more strenuous, but DMC 3 is much more fun than.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is more complex than I had expected. I'm difficulty with the bazaar system. I probably need to go back to playing and reading the manual.
And I'm still playing Final Fantasy IX, and I'm playing on the last stage, although I'm having trouble with the 2nd to last boss, I think.
Tomorrow I'll be changing the type of video games I'll play with, but as of right now I'm undecided.
