    Bioshock: is it really over?

I just finished Bioshock not evenan hour ago, I jest you not. "Never one to challenge Providence,"I join the masses in total praise of the game. Much to my chivalric honor, I witnessed the ending after saving all the little sisters, those sassy little dames (And i do mean ALL 473 little sisters). It made me feel both warm and fuzzy yet also a little empty now knowing I have to find another game to play.

I'm afraid of what might happen if they make a sequel. Little sisters grow up, maybe?

    Ouch.

Hmm... great first game for my new 360, but what will be able to follow its act?

If you see only one movie this summer...

Make sure you see The Simpsons Movie. This movie is sheer and utter brilliance! Humor is boundless, whether it be one of the many witty social parodies or just Homer bumbling through his daily life. Due to the recent onslaught of horrible TV-to-Hollywood movies (*cough* TMNT), one might be skeptical about this movie as well. Fear not, however, as this movie is not only a great example of a movie based on a TV show, but it is also one of the better comedies made this year.

For me, this movie really shined in its brilliant political and social satire. It is so well-scripted that to pick up on it, you really have to be on your game. For instance, during mass at church, Homer is fruitlessly flipping through a Bible, claiming, "There's no answers in here!" However, sometimes, it does seem to be ineffective unless you are up-to-date on current events. The presidential aide makes a brilliant reference to the post events of Hurricane Katrina, comparing an actual dome placed over the Simpson's town of residence to the dome, other Superdome, claiming that people got out of the dome before and the people of Springfield can get out of theirs.

After seeing this movie, I have become a believer of the power of The Simpsons. Whether you're a long-time fan, just getting into the series, or have never watched an episode in their life, this movie has one thing to set it apart from the crowd this summer: an angry, pitchfork-wielding mob.

Last time we saw a mob like this, we were given Resident Evil 4. An indication of quality? I think so.
