  Is it just me or are Movies getting really desperate?

  
  

  Every movie that has been made lately is either a prequel, sequel, remake or some animated or comic book movie, not to mention how bad most of the Game to movie attempts are...the best movie i have seen in along time is 300 and it turns out there was a movie called "300 Spartans" made about 30 years ago (i know the movies have huge differences but still they are based on the same thing)
  It seems like Hollywood is too focused on milking things for everything they are worth rather then trying to make good movies. If someone comes out and makes a new movie and it is a huge success you can guarantee they already have plans to make 5 sequels for it .
