  Not Another!

  Oh dear....I was away this weekend, and when i got back the first thing on my agenda was finishing the last few games of my Be A Pro mode on FIFA09. I turn my machine on, whack in the disk and close the tray. Reading.......Open tray.

  Bugger.

  I thought it may have just been my copy of FIFA, but i tried all my other games and none worked. i tried CD's and DVD's, but nothign worked at all. So i went conclusion wise my machine is screwed! This is the 4th time my xbox has gone now (although it is a kind of blessing in disguise as i finally get more guitar time :p). So again i go online and goto xbox.com to retrive the customer service number. i get on the line and now its been replaced with a horrific automated service, which at every step tells you to go onto the website and register a repair, taking her words into consideration I decided that was the best course of action.

  So i goto the xbox.com support pages and attempt to fill out the form, only for it to not work and return to me with the error telling me to ring the customer service number!!! so once again i ring customer services and talk to the robotic delight of thier auto system, and finally get through to a real person after around ten mins of perserverance. All they could say is tell me to go back onto xbox.com! I then explained the painstaking process i had already endured and finally i managed to get it through to them lol.

  Quite a horrific process alread, and this is without sorting out package pick up etc!! Micro$oft love to make it easy for us users dont they haha!!!

  Hideo Kojima and his lifetime achievement award

  Now i read the news Hideo Kojima got a special award and praise for lifetime achievement, got (or ps3 fanboy) forbid anybody speaking out about it!
  
  I simply said "he deserves an award, maybe not a lifetime achievement award." I think thats a valid point considering that hes mainly famed for one series in particular (need i mention its name)
  
  Now there are plenty of people who have done just as much, if not more work towards contributing towards videos games, and i think this is bassicly just an award in the wake of one series in particular. I'm not saying its a crap series before everybody shoots me down, im just saying that there are surely other people out there who should at least be considered?

  as if i need to list the ammount of games this guy is responsible for, let alone the innovations in console gaming!
  
  and a more controversial one, Cliffy B. Now before i get flamed to hell for it. its NOT down to gears. the original UT revolutionised Arena gaming and pc deathmatch. it bought a whole new flavour to it. maybe not a strong contender in light of the others, but worth a mention?

  Fanboyism and review failures.

  It seems to me there is a large volume of people who rate and "review" games. Now to me, this isn't an issue as when I am interested in game, I like to ask around and get opinions of what the game is actually like - and the input is usually good....however whenever certain reviews i have read by some console owners are not even reviews as such....they are just childish swipes at owners of other machines. Im an xbox 360 owner myself, but I have owned a ps3, but saw no point in having both just for the sake of a few titles! but it seems you have posters who have an average age of about 8-10 years old posting on xbox game pages "OMFG THIS GAEM IZ @!?! ON XBOX THE PS3 IS BETA"......its this stuff which annoys me. Another great example is the new pictures of fight night round 4. some idiot has posted something along the lines of "in game shots yae rite this is x360 we ar talkign aboot, not grate ps3 with killzon and rezistiance" why do these people feel the need to spread their aids like idiocies around like this????
