  there must be something wrong with me

  I really think I have an addiction of sorts. I was sitting at work waiting for a group to show up. There is a picnic area we have set up where we put the incoming groups before we start a tour. My group was running a little late so I was just wandering around the area to waste some time. When I sat down at one of the tables I saw this shadow.

  

  After seeing it...I got this urge to play Castlevania. It was just out of the blue that it popped into my head. I was trying to play out what I was going to do with the group when they arrived. I look down at this shadow and just had this urge to play Castlevania. I still haven't found my MIA Belmont yet..Simon must have found something to do.

  So my vacation starts on Monday and I now have playing Castlevania on my list of things to do during it. It'll probably be SotN again since I want to see things on a big sreen as of right now.

  Other gaming news... I am going to be pre-ordering Little Big Planet sometime really soon. I have banned my niece and nephew from playing my PS3 since they have yet to learn how to care for the disks...all my Wiimotes are having issues with sticky fingers and I have a game that won't play because of how poorly it has been treated. And since Sony has decided to ditch the backwards compatability I can't afford for anything to happen to my PS3. They aren't happy with me but it had to be done.

  I'll be updating my banners and such since with the new change the banner doesn't look right anymore. I haven't decided yet but it'll be up soon.

  want some cake?

  Ok...I figured I would share my birthday cake with everyone...just so you know they let me decorate it...

  

  It was hard to get everything on there...and I spent a good half hour looking for my Belmont to add to it but apparently he is MIA. My nephew wanted to take the Darth Maul off the cake...and Dante was a little big for the cake but well...I got to lick icing off of him so it was all good(just slightly wrong.. ) Everyone but my cousin wanted to know what the deal with the cactus was

  And since I haven't put a picture of me up here in who knows how long...

  

  That would be me blowing out the "30" candles my mother picked up. And I did leave one candle for the nephew to blow out. That would be my cousin hanging out in the background who happened to give me one of the funniest cards ever..but it is a sound card so I can't really post it up here

  Other than that I'll have to post the stuff I got in the next post..gotta recharge the battery for the camera

  at this very moment

  I have officially turned 30...woohoo!! Oddy it is not as depressing as some people try to make it out to be. I am now considered old to the many children that I see but that is expected..I am old enough to be their mom. I will say I am rather satisfied with what I have done with my 30 years so far but have great plans for the next 30. Anyways...lets get away from that.

  Yesterday was very stormy so I didn't have any visitors at work...well spare the one very brave family that came out during the very short break. Just to give you an idea I took a picture of what the sky looked like as I was leaving for work

  

  The entire drive and the rest of my 5 hours at work was lightning filled. Building shaking and blinding flashes along with the flickering of the power. So since I didn't wan to ruin any of the computers we have I did play with the laptop for a bit. I tried to find something to do with myself when I got what done what needed to be done. I turned to the remains from the night before.

  so I started playing with the glow/light sticks again. It was really dark already with the storms so I went into a hallway turned the light off and had some fun.

  

  I made one of these and decided to give my camera a little test.

  

  Those were the two best ones...now I am going to have to try something else at some point..maybe next weekend.

  Well I am going to go get some game time in...maybe catch some of the Olympics.
