I guess Ryan also.

http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/the-gamespot-exodus-continues-as-ryan-davis-leaves/19301/?biz=1

"After having received a news tip, GameDaily BIZ has confirmed with GameSpot Editor-in-Chief Ricardo Torres that Ryan Davis is the latest staffer to quit the website following the controversy that boiled over when Jeff Gerstmann was unceremoniously canned. Davis follows Frank Provo and Alex Navarro who both left within the last month as well. While Navarro did not speak up, Provo directly blamed CNet management for Jeff Gerstmann's firing and for creating the "ultimate soul-crushing work environment."

It's unclear at the moment if Jeff Gerstmann had anything to do with Davis' decision, but judging by his last blog post in December the Gerstmann situation certainly appears to have hit Davis hard:

"It's been almost 8 years since I started working at GameSpot, and Jeff was there for nearly all of my fondest and most memorable experiences on the job. ... Simply put, I would not be in the video game business at all were it not for Jeff Gerstmann, and I am loathe to imagine what I might be doing with my life right now without the focus I've earned from having this ridiculous job. ... But now, Jeff's gone, and I'm not afraid to say that it absolutely breaks my heart. I felt the departure of Rich Gallup from the site earlier this year in my bones, but this goes deeper. Jeff was a rare constant, and this marks the end of an era for both GameSpot and myself, a fact that doesn't seem to be getting any less upsetting for me."

We're expecting to hear more about this from Torres shortly. He recently shared with us his thoughts about regaining readers' trust."

Not Ryan also this is another sad day for Gamespot, now I just hope everything goes better soon.

I've reached the big 30 and other things you might not care about.

While I'm not 30, I certainly made it to level 30.

Rambo came out an I will be planning to watch it this weekend. ^_^In other movie news Swenney Tood has yet to be played at my local cinema and I've concluded it never will.

I have rented Full Metal Jacket this week and Reservoir Dogs, I have yet to watch Reservoir Dogs but Full Metal Jacket was intense, no other word to describe it. So I guess that's another movie off my list of Movies to watch before you die.

This is the list.

Citizen Kane

Full Metal Jacket (Check)

Pulp Fiction

Dr. Strangelove

Spartacus

Vertigo

Reservoir Dogs

Dial M for Murder

2010: The Year We Make Contact

Godfather Part 1

Godfather Part 2

Godfather Part 3

2001: A Space Odyssey (Check)

Psycho

Blade Runner

A Clockwork Orange

The Shining (Check)

If you have a movie you would like to add go ahead.

A Couple Things AVP:R Did Wrong

Hello all once again today I just finished watching Alien V.S Predator 2 today, although I didn't have high expectations for the film I just want to point out what was so bad about it. It's better than the first for sure but thats not saying much...

Bad Acting

This movie must have had a terrible director, the acting was horrible I didn't see much form the actors but swearing Some parts through the movie it seems like they were just reading off a paper

Am I watching this in a cave?

Seriously that film was pretty dark not emotional dark I mean dark, dark. Some of the best fight scenes was barely noticeable because you wouldn't know who was fighting who or what was doing what.

Cut Off Gore

This movie was 14A here in Canada, I think it was R in the U.S I'm not sure if we got a lot of parts cut off but I'm assuming no. Even though I had low expectation, I was hoping for some Chest Bursting, Head Popping goodness, most scenes were cut off and all you would see is blood on glass or something similar to that.

A "WTF" Ending

***SPOILER***

Anyway it was a decent movie over all but I wouldn't recommend it if your paying 10$.

So when is Predator 3 coming out
