Yeah, it also had thanks to Martin Luther King Junior, Wizards of the Coast, Ray the Soda Guy, Insomnia, Sausage McMuffins, Team Fortress Software, The Prodigy, Rage Against the Machine, Mountain Dew, and of course Director James Cameron.

When you control certain units, you can even hear homage to Aliens (James Cameron's movie) like the Terran DropShip pilot, who directly takes from the movie when she says : "Were in the pipe, 5 by 5," and "Strap yourselves in boys, we're in for some chops." are both good examples of this. I remember laughing the first time I heard that as I've seen Aliens probably over a half a dozen times. There is also a quote where one of the Terran Marine's uses Bill Paxton's line from Aliens (Alien 2, which is a cIassic). The terran marine will say if you click him enough times, "How do I get out of this chickenshit outfit" a line Bill Paxton said in Aliens.

I love that game. I remember reserving it and picking it up in the late 90's (I want to say '98). I remember when it first came out. It's good that some younger gamers are going back and playing Starcraft. Of course, I love Warcraft, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3, and quite a few Command and Conquer games. Currently I own four copies of the game and every so often I LAN it up with my four PCs and play some MP / have a BBQ.

Oh yeah, I also felt there was a connection to the Protoss and Predator, the entire game's premise reminded me of Aliens Vs. Predator fan fiction (before there was any movies). You had the three races, Human, Predator and Aliens. You could tell the Blizzard team was comprised of Sci Fi Movie fans.
