    Games Vs. Art Why???

There are men and women who pour their hearts out in the design, concept art, animation and more. Also I believe movies possibly where not even seen as art until generations later. I figure it is only a matter of time for games to been seen as art as well by people like Ebert.

I found the interview a bit insulting and worthless. "Games Vs. Art" (the title) Why???
Games and Art goes together not versus each other (losing battle there Baker).

The concept of the question "Are Games Art?" is great though! The interview was lacking.

Games Vs. Art Baker Vs Ebert

Baker never got into specifics with Ebert which is too bad.
It would have been a better interview if the guy just asked Ebert what games he played and likes. Then introduce what could be conceived as art in games. Baker ask about games in general and didn't speak about any game stories or art. I am sure Ebert could relate to stories and movies so Baker should have talked about games that were made into books or movies. Then possibly compare the games to the books and movies as being art.

Baker went off topic by saying games are a great way to escape. Ebert basically called that childish. Baker lost ground after this. I wish he would have just asked Ebert what his favorite games where and why he likes those games. If Ebert had mentioned some games in his interview, it would have given him some credibility that he knows what he is talking about. Instead he mentions books and movies. Go figure his a movie critic not a game critic.
