  My Tree House Project

  Okay. After weeks of research I've finally chosen some of the computer parts that'll go for the family computer that I'm currently planning to build. I will use it mostly for Internet and general applications with some gaming weekends. I made a promise to myself that gaming is only on the weekends so there would be no excuse not to study during the week days. It's really exciting to build your very first computer.

  CPU= AMD Phenom II 905e

  Video Card= ATI Radeon HD5770

  Motherboard= GA-MA790GPT-UD3H

  case= Antec 902

  HDD= Western Digital "Green"

  PSU: 380-450 watts, still undecided

  Ram: undecided

  Monitor:Undecided

  DVDrom: Going to use my 5 year old brandless DVD rom

  OS: Free Windows 7 (Since my college is a member of the microsoft academic alliance, I can get it for free)

  Price: I used newegg to research the parts only to find out that they don't ship to Europe so I don't know the cost.

  The Origin Of Things

  I googled my profile name recently and to my surprised there are one or two people with the same name as me, Paleogamer. I thought my name was only unique to me. One is a middle aged man on blogspot and the other is in gamerdna. I also found out that "paleogamer" means person who has been gaming since the early 80's. I just found that cool so I thought of blogging it. Well the more the merrier.
