The curse of defeat

I now have a 2:1 L/W ratio in DOTA 2... yeah.

I had a 3:1 ratio in my first 20 hours, but then something happened. SOMETHING SUPERNATURAL, SURELY.

I GOT CURSED!!!

Now, it takes me a lot of effort to win! So I've been losing the majority of my latest matches. Though now it's been getting better.

I'm not kidding though. And I don't consider it to be my fualt, because I'm rarely the worst player in my team, it's like I always get 1 or 2 BR or maybe a feeder etc. etc. While trying really hard to counter the op characters.

Anyways, doesn't stop it from being fun though!

EDIT: won 4 matches today, nvm

You were getting carried but the matchmaking system doesn't differentiate between matches except for win or loss. So you started facing players higher elo than your actual skill level, which is why you're now finding you losing a lot of matches... you're are unknowingly trying to find a balance in skill level. Eventually you'll notice a 1:1 w/L ratio and you can't seem to escape it. That's when you'll know you're at the right elo
