  Shemue 3 needs to sprout.

  Shenmue 3 deserves to come out.

  Unfortunately the very uttering of the title "Shenmue" seems to be a huge taboo down in sega's headquarters. The game cost the company a huge chunk of change during developement and didn't deliver on the sales front. It seems they would rather just forget about it and keep pumping out really bad sonic games (minus the wii version which is appearantly not bad) and keep the arcade scene from flatlining (which I think is admirable).

  For the people out there who have played the series, its a big dissapointment only playing half way through a story. Playing to the end of the second disk of ff7 and then realizing that there is no third disk to insert.

  Many are aware of the various online petitions and fan sites on the web which indicate that there is a decent demand which has not diminished. For its time the shenmue series was a pathbreaking and innovative experience. Finishing the story off on a next gen platform to aid yu suzuki's ambitions for what shenmue is should be a cause that needs to rallied behind.

  I for one will have my Backfist Willow and Brutal Tiger attacks ready when called upon.

  Cross Platform releases

  I'm glad to see that devil may cry 4 is coming to the pc. Capcom has been doing that alot lately, releasing some older titles on the pc. I hope that this trend continues and that other developers will follow suit. With the xbox 360 controller for pc (other brands are just as good) it could just end up being another revenue stream for them.

  I'd be really happy if some console rpg's would start being ported to the pc again. Like what square was doing in the late nineties etc.
