  Back from the dead! Why i have been gone and why 2010 will be AWESOME!

  well most of you are probably wonderign where i have been and thats simple, a virus deleted system 32 in my boot drive so i havnt had a computer for a while but here i am.
  
  First things first, new reviews are coming and i have 3 on their way, first is my rewriting of the stormrise review, then operation flashpoint dragon rising and then the chronicles of riddick assault on dark athena. yep it sure is good to be back.
  
  Why 2010 is going to be awesome: most of you know why im pretty excited right now and thats becasue MASS EFFECT 2 in 14 days! i actually cannot wait and i have a feeling its going to top the original. Next bad company 2, what a game! the multiplayer looks similar to COD 4 but refined better and with incredible audio. AVP (aliens vs predator) also looks awesome i cant wait to give that a try too. Then there is Metro 2033, not a lot of people have heard of this but it caught my eye a few years ago and all this new footage excites me. And finally there is Medal of honor, the ironic thing is that a few days before it was announced i was saying i wonder if they will ever make a new MOH, and then that happened and it does look very good.

  initial impressions on operation flashpoint: Dragon Rising

  Well yesterday i decided to go out and buy ofp:dr and i can safely say its good so far, i am only on the third mission but i am loving it, everything about it seems to be good the graphics are a little dissapointing but everything else seems great, my first reaction when getting shot at was HOLY S**T! because you can feel the bullets whizzing past and the dirt kicks up all over you its so intense. The game a few issues however, becasuse you can sometimes die instantly i was in a fire fight and an enemy who was rediculously far away got me square in the head, still the most annoying issue is how you can sometimes tkae one shot and some enemies can take 5, its just confusing. The game itself is a lot more violent than i initially thought with grenade kills being extremely satisfying. So far i am really enjoying this game, expect a review very soon

  Thoughts on modern warfare 2

  Ok people keep asking me what my thoughts actually are on MW2 so here they are

  Personally i hated COD 4, i spent £40 on a campaign that lasted 4 hours and i use multipalyer so you can imagine how annoyed i was.

  Now modern warfare 2, i honestly cant see the big deal, i just looksthe same but with more guns and a new campaign which is apparnatly around the same length as COD 4's. I think the game itself looks rushed and the fact that pretty much all the reload animations look the same, for example the G36 now has the M4 reload and the AK-47 reload is guess what, the exact same, very lazy.

  Admittedly the multiplayer does look interesting but its just essentially killing people, all the new upgrades are a good idea bu i really dislike how just about every game has been pushed back to 2010 becasue of it. For example singularity i personally thought looked really good but that got pushed back to next year which i was pretty hacked off about. No doubt MW2 will get absolutely praised by critics, im not going to buy it, ever i may borrow it from a friend but i will never buy an infinity ward call of duty again. At least Treyarch know how to make a shooter with a decent campaign and a great multiplayer, and hopefully their cold war call of duty will be vietnam because if they keep all the grittyness from WAW then we should have a great shooter.

  But back to the subject i personally feel that MW2 will be overrated, im not saying it wotn be good but i definately think it has been over hyped
