Here in India, the Sony consoles of the past and present have always been the way to go. They were cheaper, more readily available and the games were available at more outlets. Another reason for the Sony fan base to be greater was that Sony started earlier and everyone just jumped onto the band wagon.

Over the years, in India, Sony has launched the PS One, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS Vita and The Move. All that Microsoft has launched are the Xbox 360 and the Kinect......Thats it! Its clear that Sony has a much greater interest in the Indian market than Microsoft. Not only has surpassed in number of consoles sold but has also been able to secure a future market for its future products which includes the PLAYSTATION 4.

This brings me to my point. We have seen at E3 2013 that Sony, in my opinion, out performed Microsoft. Dont get me wrong, I love my X360 but after seeing the PS4 and the XONE, Im leaning towards the Playsation for now. The reasons are quite simple...At least for me. Lets list the pros and the cons for the PS4.

Pros:

1. Faster RAM aka Better Hardware

2. 100$ cheaper aka Better for my pocket

3. Improved Controller aka Better for my hands

4. No restriction on used-games aka Better for my pocket again!

5. No need of online check-ins ever aka Better for Single-Player

6. Good Looks aka Better for my eyes

7. Not Region Locked aka I CAN BUY GAMES FROM WHEREVER I WANT!

Cons:

1. No Forza

2. No Halo

3. Xbox LiVE is better

So clearly the pros outweigh the cons. I own an Xbox right now and I love it, but the steps that Microsoft has taken with its next-gen console are putting me off. What if my internet is down for a few days. Just because my internet company has a blackout, I cant play my games? Even single-player ones? Come one Microsoft. What were you thinking? If that wasnt enough, I cant play at a friends house without logging in once an hour? WHAT? In what world does that make sense?? Now coming to the lending of games. I can lend my games to my friends, but only once? Why? WHY?

Sony has been the smarter company so far this year. If Microsoft does do something in the next few months, or atleast come out with solid reasons for us choosing the Xbox over the Playstation, I will be shifting to the PS4. I feel sad that after being in the Xbox family for over a decade, Ill be shifting to Sony, but if this is what Microsoft is going to be doing, Im happy!

Is it true that the gaming gene in a person reduces with age? I see so many people saying and telling me ' Whats the point of you getting a new xbox? youre already 20 youre gonna lose interest.' Am I? I dont think so. With age i believe you can get a better feeling and understanding of games. Younger kids dont care for stories or characters. Im going to play games till the day i die. Games are a lifestyle. You cant just leave it or lose interest.

As of now I am really bored with my gaming scene but im excited about 3 major tiles coming out soon.

I have always wondered, whenever we say 'Star Wars' people think of Jedis and Sith. Yes they are a major part of the whole Star Wars universe, okay, maybe a very big part but why is it that no one ever thinks of Criminals, Bounty Hunters, etc. Whenever a star wars games comes out it almost always revolves around jedis and the sith but finally there is a game that is coming out that is focusing more on criminals and things like that and the game is

Star Wars 1313. It was shown at E3 but not much was revealed. It seems like a very fresh and amazing way to play, feel and live the star wars universe. Im really liking this. I hope this game comes out soon and is good.

Out of the millions across the world who own an xbox only a portion can be called true xbox owners. Why you ask? Well because to be a real xboxian you need to have the following games inb your arsenal.

1. Call of Duty: It doesnt matter if you have Modern Warfare or Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops. All you need to have is a CoD game.

2. Halo: Preferably you should have atleast 2 Halo games. If you ask me Halo 3 and Reach should do it. (BTW Halo Wars DOES NOT count.)

3. Jade Empire: Many might have not heard about it but Jade Empire was produced by BioWare and according to me one of the best RPGs ever made. Yes it was later brought onto the PC but its heart truly lies in the xbox version.

4. Gears of War 2: GoW2 has all the elements of GoW plus a few more so having this xbox-only game is a complete must.

5. Forza Motorsports 3: Forza is a must for car lovers, customization lovers, racing lovers, good graphic lovers, replay value lovers. Nuff' said.

6. FIFA 10/11: Both FIFA 10 and FIFA 11 are almost the same game. Choose any and you'll be happy.

7. Assassins Creed II: AC2 was a vast improvement over the first so go get it and kill some snobby italians. (no offence to italians.)

8. Red Dead Redemption/GTA IV: GTA is a game in the 2000s and Red Dead is the same game in the wild west. Your pick.

9. Fable 2/3: Get one of these and spend a week of your life in the world of Albion. You wont regret it.

That is about it. Im sure i have left out alot but thats all my mind can think of right now. Go ahead and comment and add games to the list.

Hey everyone....I have nothing to do nowadays. Have like a 2 week break from school so just doing nothing these days and the bad thing is that i 'm broke so i cant even buy a new game. I wanted Forza 3.....

Finally I finished HAWX on elite and it took me some time but i have finally did it. It was easier than i thought. Second, I'm still one lvl 20. I know they updated the levelling system and made the 20th lvl smaller but im still on 20(81%). Oh well...

I am not that into boxing but I really find Fight Night Round 4 pretty neat. What do you say? should I get the game? Or should I wait for something better?

I am definitely goind to buy Assassins Creed 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction. But I'm still thinking about Fight Night.

Well, I do have my summer break from school so I am on a Vacation here in Canada. I've been here for about 2.5 weeks and its been fun. I'm also doing flying at a local flying club so thats pretty neat too. I already have 18 hours but need around 25 hours to get my license.

Well now with my gaming life.

I didnt bring my xbox with me here so dont have much to do but I have bought a few games. I bought The Sims 3 the day it came out and also HAWX. Finally got HAWX because it didnt release in India. When I go back home to my beloved xbox, I will be online playing it, and ill also spend hours on the sims 3. Oh that reminds me I have to renew my Xbox LiVE gold membership.

I have a question. Should I get a black controller for my xbox or should i buy another white one?

I finally bought a new mouse for my PC. I got a Razer Salmosa and I have to say that it is one of the best mice out there in that price range. It is as smooth as anything can be and very accurate. All in All a good purchase.

My xbox got another error message. Oh sorry, my newer xbox got an error message but after i switched it off and on again, it went away. I tried switching it on n off a few more times and it was fine. Thank God! . The red lights came but dont remember which ones. Do u think it could have been a one time error?

I accidently scratched the family car while bringing it into the driveway. Turned too much and the right side got scratched by the gate. No one got hurt, and my dad wasnt that pissed, but still..

My finals are finally over and now i will be going to 11th grade. only two more years of school left. YESSS!!
