Thanks for the heads up on the streetfighter game and afro samurai. I was thinking of getting them.

...I posted another blog. ![]()
I just haven't been inspired to blog lately, but its 1 AM now, and I can't sleep. What better time?
Recently I got myself on of these bad boys.

An iPhone, in case its not recognizable enough to you. So far, Im really loving it. The service isn't overpriced for what you get really (unlimited web/email/texts, 5000 nights and weekends, 45o anytime minutes, +rollover = $59.99) though the phone itself was a bit steep. All in all, I'm not dissapointed though. Its got some spectacular features. Nothing beats using your phone as an ocarina, then using it to find a nearby restaurant, stream some internet radio, and then swing it around to the accompaniment of lightsaber sfx. Oh, and.. you know... it makes calls too.
Now, latest game impressions.
Street Fighter 4 will be up first. Sadly enough, Im not enjoying this game nearly as much as I thought I would. It just feels been there done that, and the difficulty level seems to be ridiculously unbalanced at times. 7.5/10
FEAR 2 Project Origin on the other hand impressed me. I was not a fan of its predecessor by any stretch of the imagintation. It was very average. But Project Origin's managed to hold me captive from begining to end. The story is much better this time around, and told in a much more satisfying manner. The ending actually has me chomping at the bit to play FEAR 3. 9.0/10
Afro Samurai. What can I say about this game.... it sucks. Badly. Art direction is the only thing I can admire here really. BUT, i got it for a measely $5 from an unsatisfied freind, and that's a deal I'd have to be a fool to pass up. To bad playing the game just makes me angry inside... 4/10
And, finally, a movie impression. Today I went to see Coraline in 3d, and to be honest, it blew me away. I loved the film from start to finish, and the 3d was easily the best I've seen yet. It didn't feel gimmicky or tacked on in anyway. It just seemed... right. Henry Selick did an amazing job and you should definitely see this movie in the theatre if you get a chance. Its got an amazingly beautiful visual style that should be expeienced in all its glory.
Well, I guess that about does it for now. Hope everyone's doing well.
