    Bostonians are Idiots!

Yesterday, I went with my mother to Boston to drop off my older sister and niece. The ride was alright. It was 9 at night, I was jamming to my house music, then later on we went to this McDonalds that was off the highway near where my sister lives. My mother pulls up to the drive thru to order some food, then someone says over the microphone that they'll right with her to take her order. I swear to god, we waited about 15 minutes and there were about 4-5 cars in back of us waiting. No one ever even answered at all, even when my mother and my sister were saying sarcastically, "Hello?". At this point, we were so aggrivated. My mother didn't want to leave that McDonalds because she figured that's what the employees wanted to lose the frustration of their back. We even saw this pissed off woman walk into the restaurant to complain. After that, we drove towards the cashier window to see what the hell was going on inside the restaurant. We saw this idiot teenager on her cell phone, NOT even with her headset on, and these other scrambing dumba*ses as well. Then we saw the manager at the window and she saw us. She asked my mother, "ee wha u wan hunny?". She took our order and whatever, then she had trouble swaping my mothers card though the register. She needed a PIN number. What a f**ktard she was. A PIN number isn't even required at McDonalds. My mother actually got out of the car and walked inside the restaurant, and let my sister be in charge of the car while she went to resolve the PIN issue. That was resolved and we got all of our items. We even heard one guy in back of us go, "What the fu-!" That was funny as hell. A minute later, we left the restaurant and checked to see if we had all of our items. When we were about to leave the restaurant, this dude that was trying to get out too wasn't even paying attention and almost backed up into my mother's car. After we dropped off my sister and niece, this taxi driver was in the middle of this big intersection and was backing up like an idiot. I swear to god, I thought I was going to lose my mind. I wanted to go back to my house in the suburbs so badly. Even Cambridge would've made me feel better. When we finally arrived at the house, my mother goes, "It only takes one hour in Boston to miss the suburbs." That is so true. Completely true. I hate Boston so much, you have no idea. All this drama just reminded me of why I hate Boston. I'm staying in the suburbs forever! As a matter of fact, screw the northeast. I'm moving to California when I start going to college!

I am an official Mac user :D

I've been waiting literally for years to be an owner of the Mac, especially now that Vista's been out for almost two years now. I don't even know how I made it......seriously. I've been using Vista for 1 1/2 years and even to this day, I'm still not even close to being satisfied with the operating system. I've had nothing but compatibility issues, error after error, lag, freezing, and crashing. I never had a virus problem, thank god. After a while, I just wanted to use something different. Something I could rely on. Downgrading to Windows XP wasn't even an option for me because its very difficult to find the XP drivers for my PC. Ubuntu Linux could've been another option, but the problem is that after using it since May, I've noticed very few glitches in the system. One of the glitches is so bad, that you have to end up reinstalling the operating system from scratch. From here, my choices were very limited.

When I finally had the money, I bought my first mac ever in my life. I bought the Mac mini with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1.86 GHz speed. So far, using this has been smooth sailing for me. I even installed Windows XP on another partition and even that was running smoothly as well. I'm very impressed with the Mac and how convenient it is to maintain a music, video, and photo collection. You can definitely feel and be a lot more organized on OS X. I never really had a problem with the Mac since I bought it. Windows XP hasn't been giving me problems either. Surprising. I can't wait what Apple has to offer in the future. I look forward to the future. If I'm impressed with Mac OS X Leopard, I can only imagine what Apple's going to surprise people with next.....................Snow Leopard.......

Feels Great To Be In The Suburbs Again

I never thought I would make it, oh my God. I had to stay in this place that was in a middle of a ghetto in Boston, then stay at my aunts for another week while my mom had to look for an apartment or house to rent. Luckily she chose a place to stay that is in a very laid back, quiet, and humble neighborhood. So far, I absolutely hate Boston now, and loving the place and city I'm living in now, which is Arlington. I moved into the new place last Friday. I don't even miss the other place we stayed at. It just didn't feel very much at home. The neighborhood we used to live in was just very weird and creepy. I never really felt comfortable living there, or going outside my house. School was also another issue in Boston too, for me and my little sister. School definitely didn't work out for us, but thank god I took advantage of the internships my old school was offering at the time. If anything good came out of living in the city of Boston, one thing is that I became very independent and finally had a job that give me a ticket to bigger and better things in life. I'm very proud of myself for accomplishing so many things this year. And now, I brought everything I learned from living in Boston into Arlington.

I feel so free now, very happy, and settled in my new place. I also quit my internship, which made me feel even more free than ever! You'll see why I quit in my next blog post. I finally have my own room once again. Over the days, I bought a new 19" HDTV and HDMI cable for my PS3, a Cybershot camera, and next week, I'm planning to buy a new HP Slimline PC. Things are going very well so far here in Arlington. I'm just thanking the Lord for everything at this point.
