I forgot how much I loved Pooh. Winnie the Pooh, to be exact. Now judge me how you will, but I really used to love Pooh. I would watch the Many Adventures, many times. I sort of lost interest for a while, around the first Heffulump movie, until the 2011 movie came out; never saw it, but really want to. The reason I love Pooh so much, is due to two factors: animation and writing. The animation is stunning, gorgeous, and colorful. The writing is what makes it so great, though. Unlike most TV-Y, Disney cartoons (before Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls) which pander to the dumbasses of the world, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh gave kids great animation, and older audience members fantastic writing and voice-acting. I used to love TNAoWtP when I was a kid. A couple of weeks go, I was babysitting a friend's kid, and she wanted to watch a DVD; a Pooh DVD to be exact; A Valentine For You, to be exact; it has 3 episodes of the show on it: A Valentine For You, Un-Valentine's Day, and The Three Little Piglets. I was surprised at how witty the dialogue was.

Now, here's the damn Disney doesn't give: you know that DVD I was talking about? Well, that was one of the only DVDs released to represent the show. For a show of this caliber, you would think that they'd release a complete series compilation. This is very unacceptable drek. How could they release Kim Possible on DVD, but not Pooh? The same thing is happening with Cartoon Network and their shows (though they are starting to learn better, with the first season of Adventure Time having a traditional release). Thank God that Adult Swim knows how to release DVDs. I would love to have the entire Pooh cartoon on DVD, so Disney, if you're listening, do it for us, your fans. At least they released Gargoyles on DVD.... oh, and 4Kids (or Nickelodean), please finish releasing the rest of the 2003 TMNT series on DVD.

I know what you mean. Seems they don't care that people want their shows released on dvds. I wish Lupin the third was released on dvd already, I love that show XO
