YAY!!! I go to my first anime and gaming convention tomorrow, I'm really excited. I get to see my best friend, and other friends that I haven't seen in a while.

Plus I meet new people from the con forums.

I don't care that much about the con part, except for people's costumes, if they are well done. I'm mostly going to hang out with my friends, and make new ones.

It'll be a blast.

YAY!! I'll be going to my first con in 26 days and be able to see my best friend, whom I haven't seen since June. I was going to cosplay as Nathan Drake from Uncharted, since he was simple and cheap to cosplay. I don't have much money, and the holster was over 80$ so I will not be cosplaying, I will be going as myself. So excited, a lot of people I miss I will be seeing, and meet people for the first time that I met online on the con's forum.

I now have a PS3, I love it, I've had it for a few week, great console, I only have Uncharted, because I am too poor to buy other games right now, the demos I downloaded are fun. My PSN ID is rikku-strife, you can add me. iI have no online games though, and there is not many online games that interest me. I got the 60 GB one online, it was the one i wanted, I have lots of great PS2 games, and I didn't want 2 consoles.

I also have a DS and PSP, those 3 are all the systems I want for now.

Uncharted is a great game, I was surprised, I don't normally like shooters, and this game is mostly shooting, with adventure and platforming and puzzles. Great story, great characters, great gameplay, I would give it a 9.5, not a 10 only because the pirates had not much variety in design, other than that, it was great. I can't wait for the sequel. I'd prefer a Jak 4 first though.

I'm reading the loveless manga now, really good, the anime was one of my favorites, and the manga is just as good. I want to read the next volume, but I don't have it, I only have the first 2. My best friend has all 7, I am jealous.

I am also watching Trigun now, after finishing Ouran Highschool Host Club, I enjoyed it, some funny parts, the characters were good.

I want to move out from here, I don't like this city, Halifax, NS, the buses suck, it takes a long way to get anywhere, and my friends are not from here. I also don't like living with my sister.

I've been looking for a job for over a month, and applied to at least ten places, since I moved here, to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Atlantic Canada, and it really bothers me that I haven't found a job, because all the money I have is my student loan, which while I have like 6000$ left of it, I'd rather not spend it since I will owe it all back. I only got called for interview at one place, Wal-mart lol, out of all the places I applied, which sucks, I wanted to work at Future Shop. Anyways, I went to 2 interviews at Wal-Mart, and both times they said everything looks great and I shouldn't have a problem getting a job there. They even called my references, and my references told me that they thought it seemed like Wal-Mart was impressed, which means nothing because it's Wal-mart, and they have low standards. They still haven't called me back, and it was a month ago that I went for my second interview, and I've been to see them twice to ask what was up, and they said they would call me soon. To make things worse they have a big sign right on the side of the road. And today I found out that my best friend who just recently applied, with a week or two ago, probably got a job at Wal-Mart, which makes me more pissed off. But I'm happy for my friend. Yay her!!! But I'm really worried that I won't find a job soon.

Then there's the fact that I have to pass my government exams to get a job with the course I took, and if I don't my course of Power Engineering would have been pointless, and I'd have a student loan dept for nothing. The tests are a **** and whoever writes them has no idea what they are doing, they are filled with spelling errors, and a lot of the questions are not anywhere in teh course material, and have nothing at all to do with the course, and I failed the same exam 4 times, and I'm the smartest person I know. Sorry for the bragging XD, but it's true lol. So that makes me even more worried, cause I honestly can't see myself passing that exam ever, or at least anytime soon.

Then there's also the city I'm living in, Halifax, It sucks. One of my friends was sent to the hospital for 5 months because he was beat up, and another that was almost killed by four guys. These two friends have never met each other and it happened on different occasions. So I do not like walking around after dark, because Halifax is the most violent city in Canada. Then there are the transit buses which also suck. I can't even remember the amount a times a bus was 20+ minutes early, or over an hour late, which gets really annoying so I walk to most places. But there are times when I had to wait an hour and a half in the pouring rain, while the streets were flooding, and the bus never showed up, and it would have been like a 5 hour walk home. I would never walk that far unless I had too, most walks are about an hour.

There's more and it's probably the worst. Before the summer, I had no friends in Halifax because my best friends for ten years said I couldn't visit them anymore, because I had puked in their apartment after drinking to much. And the worst thing about that is that one of them puked in his apartment the same night, and he was the one who told me, I couldn't visit them anymore. And the **** said it through email, couldn't even tell me face to face I was depressed for a little while afterwards, becasue I didn't really have any other friends in Halifax, since I just moved there for college. So I went without six months without having any close friends, besides a couple of buddies from my class, who I wasn't that close, but they were cool. I'm shy, so I have a hard time making new friends, but I did at a campout in a city four hours away by bus. And there I met my now best friend, and so I was happy, and not depressed anymore.

And now I'm starting to feel a little depressed again, because I'm worried about finding a job, and passing those exams, and now that I'm back in Halifax, after staying home, which is a three hour car drive away, I don't have any friends here yet, so it gets boring. At least down home I had my brother, he's a gamer as well. my best friend lives four hours away by bus, and I can't afford to go visit her. Oh and she's sexy, and a gamer, and funny. Does it get better than that?

I feel a little depressed, nothing serious, except for when I talk to her online. She has dial-up so she can't come on as often as before, but she comes on often enough. And you, my best friend, you know who you are, I'd rather not mention names XD, so I'll refer to you as best friend, don't try to come online more often becasue you read this. And to my other friends too, it's not a big deal, I always got depressed for periods of time since I was little, it's not like I'm not happy, it's just I don't feel like doing anything at all, and worry about every little thing. Not that they'll read this, but they might, they know I'm rikkustrife, but they don't come here, I don't think. Also my other friends all live four hours away too, or more for one of them, I think, I'm not sure where he lives exactly, he used to be in the city of Fredericton for college, and moved a month ago.

Does anyone know if this site or other sites like it really work? It would be nice if it did, becasue then I would only need to refer it to 14 people, which could be tough though.

And Uncharted is looking to be one of the best games this gen, IMO, Assassin's Creed too.

I really want a PS3 now. I want to play Lair, I know it has had bad reviews but I have a friend who's played it and she said it was fun, and I trust her opinion over reviewers I don't know. Plus I just like dragons, so I really want this game. Also Heavenly Sword looks awesome as well. I played the demo, and that was real fun and it is one of the best looking games I've seen. Plus the same friend I mentioned has played this game, and after listening to her opinion of it, I really want to play it. By the way she describes it, makes it sound like one of the best games of all time.

Then Uncharted and Assassin's Creed(I don't have a 360) come out in November and I really want those games as well. Then there's also The Eye of Judgement that is just released and that game looks interesting and I'd like to try it out. Little Big Planet will be coming in the first quarter of 08 and that game looks amazing. That's all coming out soon that I want. Disgaea 3 does come out in Japan January 31, so should be out this summer, so I have a while till that game comes out. My most wanted PS3 game is White Knight Story right now, it would be FFXIII since I'm a huge FF fan but not enough info on that game yet. Those games are not out for a while and probably will have my PS3 by then.

I can't afford a PS3 right now because I just finished college and have to find a job and pay my student loan. I took Power Engineering in college, and I still have to pass these government exams before I get a job in that field. But when I do I should get a good paying job. There will be many openings in that field, here in Atlantic Canada, since a lot of people will be retiring soon, and everyone is going to Alberta.

I just bought a PSP(Daxter bundle) and a DS lite though and bought Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Pearl, Daxter and Jeanne D'Arc. Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness comes out this October 30, and I'll be getting that game. I wanted a DS for Phantom Hourglass, the FFIV DS remake, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. The last two aren't out for a little while especially Kingdom Hearts, that one is still far off. I got a PSP for Daxter, Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I am enjoying Daxter now, and will be getting Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness soon. As with the DS, the S-E games have no release date. XD

I'm also picking up the PS2 games I missed, the ones I want are Jak 3, Jak X, Ar Tornelico, and Okami. I just bought Dark Cloud 2. I also want a Wii for No More Heroes and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Metroid Prime Corruption looks fun as well.

Small rant here against fanboys:

I go to the Super Smash Brothers Brawl boards and they diss Sora from Kingdom Hearts, and complain about there being too many threads about Sora, but I've seen 10 threads complaining about there being too many Sora threads(This is mostly Gamefaqs posters though.). Also Nintendo fanboys should stop complaining about people wanting Sora in Brawl unless you can come up with better arguments than him being gay and that he fights with a key. On the FFXIII boards, there used to be so many posts saying how or asking if it's going to the 360, it's not so stop asking. There is a sticky, read it. Though t is mostly Gamefaqs posters posting that too.
