Wow-e is all I have to say about the movie WALL-E. I went to see this movie tuesday night with my cousins and I really enjoyed it. I don't really want to ruin it for anyone so I will give you only my impressions without any plot spoilers. Wall-e is the story of a little robot built by a huge global corporation called BL.(Imagine walmart times 10) In the future earth is abandoned and we start the story with wall-e wandering around collecting garbage from a desolate city. Eventually wall-e meets another mysterious robot and falls in love with it. As the story unfolds we find out what has happened to the planet and to the human race. Everything in this movie is really well done. I recommend everyone go see it, especially if you are a fan of any kinda cutesy robot stuff. There is a lot of themes that you wouldn't expect to see in a robot movie like love, corporate empires, and the negative effects of technology on the human state.

Lots of folks b@#ching and moaning about 2.4, but you know what? It was exactly what sony said it would be. Sony said that trophies would had to be patched in by the developers. everyone's response? "WTF?! NONE OF MY GAMES HAVE TROPHIES YET!! I WANT IT NOW!!!" They also said they wouldn't be retroactive. Response? "WTF!? I HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME I LOVE SO DEARLY AGAIN?!?! EFFF YOU SONY!! I DON'T WANT TO PLAY GAMES I LOVE MORE THAN ONCE!"(I guess this is sony's fault for tempting those achievement whoores with someone similar to what they got on 360)

And seriously ftw people. I mean who wants to be able to watch a movie, browse the net or look at pictures while playing a game? Are you mentally ill? Have you been dropped on your head as a child? Like I mentioned in a forum post earlier imagine this scenario:

dude 1:"hey dude what are you doing?! They're taking the bomb to the target!!"
dude 2:"oh sorry man I was watching high school musical on blu ray."

dude 1:"wtf we're playing sabotage right now idiot!!"

Heh so it's finally coming this wednesday accoarding to gamespot. In game xmb in almost all of it's entirety which is kinda odd since I thought that messaging and music would be enough. Hopefully konami will release a patch afterwards to let you listen to your own music in mgs's ipod. Man it's going to be insane weds. when everyone is trying to download the update.

The trophy system was introduced as well and it looks kinda interesting. I am not into stuff like gamerscore and all that so i'm not too overly excited about it. Oddly enough it's not being solely taken over by sony so third party games will have to be patched by the developers themselves. Accoarding to the gamespot article rewards are not retroactive which means you will have to replay the game again. I guess this comes to a suprised because some people have been thinking that you wouldn't have to replay the games. Hopefully konami will also decide to use trophy's for mgo . They could actually just use the emblems as trophies which would save them some time in coming up with them.

EDIT:: I guess depending on the scope of the game(large or small) trophies will be worth the same amount. So if you have all trophies in uncharted it will be the same as having all trophies in heavenly sword. This is kinda odd cause theoretically you can't get more trophies than someone that has the same number of games as you.

So I have been totally addicted to mgo so I haven't had much time to start up my Mgs4 round 2 playthrough until now. But first I want to give some pointers I have learned about mgo in case you didn't know them. Thanks to helmetz, aang, and everyone that helped me learn them myself.

1. Keep rolling when you fall(not the triangle flip roll): when on the ground press and hold (simultaneously) L1+X+Left or right on the left thumbstick. After you initiate the move I think you can release L1 if you keep holding X. Great for those jerks that cqc slam you then crouch and stun you.

2. Playboys can be as deadly as claymores and are a good way to master cqc faster. If you have trouble getting people in cqc just plant some playboys in heavy traffic areas or if someone is a good distance away and is chasing you. They will leave themselves wide open for your cqc.

3. To level a skill you need it to be equipped but It doesn't have to be the level under the level that you're trying to attain for it. I think if you have level 2 knife and want 3 but don't want to use up 2 slots you can just equip level one knife and level it like that.

4. While in game you'll see all your skills near the bottom left. If it's lit up that mean it's able to be leveled but it doesn't mean your leveling it. Like if you have runner, cqc and knives, knives won't light up till you equip a knife. Oh and if a skill levels up there is a star next to it.

5. To sing type , must be in caps. If multiple people sing it at the end of a game(not end of a round) there will be a polyphonic chorus.

6. ground choke: cqc grab the enemy by holding r1, press x to crouch down to your knees, release r1 and then quickly tap down on the left thumb stick while holding r1 again. (like move down, not press L3)

7. someone has to be online for you to find them in player search.(yea it sucks)

8. Use the boxes and drum can. People are in too much of a rush and most of them will just walk past one instead of checking to see if someone is inside.

9. Pistols are your friends. When cqc'ing someone if you see someone running towards you hold L1 and let go of R1, If you have a pistol you can shoot the guy running at you after the aiming reticle comes up using R1. I caught so many people trying to knife me while I was cqc'ing their buddies.

To all those pro mgo players, I had a few questions:

To slit throats you need cqc 3 and knife 1 right?

Is there a way to counter cqc? I floor choked this guy and I think he shot me from the ground.

Is there a good way to avoid the stun knife when you get up?

I didn't think it was true but I stumbled along some proof of anti-mgs fanboys giving the game a low score just to mess with the average user score for the game.(it's an average right?) Anyways this idiot not only writes a review that doesn't match the score, he seemingly plagiarizes his review. The first thing that tipped me off was that he scored the game a 3.5 but the review was pretty glowing. So thanks to google I found the source of his review. Nzgamer.com. First I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he wrote the article. But the nzgamer review was given a 8.5 which clearly didn't match with his review.
