  Hitting the Spot #1

  Okay.  Things got a little carried away and I haven't posted for a while.  That's about to change.  Sure didn't get off to a good start with this new blog, though...

   So, what's new with my gaming?  Here's what's up:

  • Finished Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut (GC).  Of course, not 100%, but that'll be a project for the summer time.
  • Started a new game on Sonic Heros (GC).  Pretty good so far.  About 53% of the way through Team Sonic's story.  And one stage into Team Dark's story.
  • Racing on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (GC).  Just killing time with it when I get bored with other games.  Started a new file.  I'm 4 events into the Hot Pursuit mode with all Gold ratings.
  • Meaning to pick back up The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii).  Kinda got distracted from it...
  • Started a new game on Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 (GBA).  Hadn't played this for a long time!
  • Also meaning to pick back up one of the my Animal Crossing games.  It's getting time for snow!
  • Working on beating Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (GEN).

  Well, now you know what's been keeping me busy.  I'll be posting daily updates on how these things are going... or at least I'll try to!

  Hitting the Spot: Official Beginning

  I've made "Hitting the Spot" the official name of this blog. In fact, I guess not much has changed other than the fact that this blog will be more daily. I hope I start to make sense in these posts and I also hope to become more active in other people's blogs. There are so many things to keep up with on GameSpot... How do you people ever find time to play games!

  Anyways, despite the name change, I'll be keeping the old posts on here as momento of the days when this blog was not as... intelligible. And I'll try to do "special" blogs every now and then that break from the routine I hope to achieve. Maybe they'll include previews of a review I'm getting ready to write, an editorial on gaming in general, or even a look into my life. Whatever it may be, I hope I can keep you mildly entertained!

  Hitting the Spot: 11-18-2008

  So, lately I've been playing Sonic Adventure on the GameCube.  The game is actually better than most people make it out to be.  I'd beaten the adventure mode before, but I started over the other day.  Just beat Sonic's story and now I'm trying to beat all of the missions and trials.  That gets quite challenging.  Great work Sega!
