Doing 4 courses this semester and all online becaus eI don't feel like going to my college. Principles of Economics 2, English 2, Elementary Algebra, and Principles of Marketing. I'll tell you how i'm doing in each.

Principles of Economics

I have 648 points so far. I need 1050 for a C, 1200 for a B, and 1350 for an A. I feel I can at the least get a B. Every week we have a discussion board worth 10 points and an exam worth 100. We can take the exam twice and at the end we can see which we got right and wrong. I write down what I picked for each while doing it and then highlight which I got right in the excel I use. Usually get 80-90.

English 2

I have 565 points so far. I need 665 for a C, 760 for a B, and 855 for an A. I feel I can get the A. We a read and respond and annotation assigments for stories. We also get a question to do about them, maybe a essay (75-100 words), and an exam of sorts. It's complex but very easy. for the stories we've been told to do a few weeks and turn them in together in a zip folder. So I've been able to get weeks worth of work done in a few days. when I turned my weeks 4-7 work in I got 195 points. doing week 7-11 now and I think i'll get enough points to have a B. Real easy A.

Elementary Algebra

I got 379 points so far. I need 650 for a C, 780 for a B, and 900 for an A. We have 3 tests worth 150 points each, a final worth 200, 4 quizs worth 14 points each, 4 homework assignments for 25 each, & 9 discussion board topics for 20 a piece. I still have 1 test, 4 discussion boards, 2 quizs, and the final. I've turned in all the homework early. Wasn't much. This will be a struggle as I'm only hoping for a C. From what we have done I missed more than 100 points so an A is out of the question. Missed 113 points so far. I've read in the syallbus that the final will replace my lowest test score which is 90. the final is 200 and it said that it will be recalculated to the 150 so if i score high I get even more points.

Principles of Marketing

this one is a bit hard because the teacher rarely grades her work. I got 125 points out of 140 so far. There has to be more but that's based on current points. The syallbus says 600 points but we seem to be doing different stuff. I feel an A is possible but as long as I get a C since this teacher takes too long grading and giving work.

Well I feel my report card will be B (Economics), A (English), C (Algebra), A or B (Marketing). I made the president's list last semester for my 3.5 but these grades are good enough to raise my G.P.A back up like I said I wanted. I have a 2.53 G.P.A right now.

I was told I didn't have to worry about changing my major until i'm close to graduating. so I don't have to worry about it.

Our generals don't get that detailed like Accounting classes. On a side note, I found out my math grade today is high enough that I don't even have to take my final, or show up for the last 2 weeks of the class for that matter! :D

@YoshiKoopa Sounds nice. We got 4 levels of algebra. Plus I can't find Intermediate Accounting 1 which I do need. Need it also to take IA 2 which people are taking somehow.

At my college all they have is College Math, which I'm finishing in 2 weeks. They also have Transitional Math but that's only if you scored low on the ACT test.

@YoshiKoopa Well, there are levels of math at my school. First is basic college mathematics or pre algebra which seem to be the same.after you pass one of them you can take Elementary algebra. next is intermediate algebra. The last is college algebra which is the one i need to get my degree. they have college mathematics lower than elementary and then finish with college mathematics.

@YoshiKoopa that's what they call it but it's nothing like what you'd learn in elementary.
