Been playing Bayonetta the past few days and really getting the hang od it. I currently have 27 trophies out of 51. I'm about to start chapter 13 which is a boss battle. Some wicked tough boss battles and then some real hard battles against special opponents during regular levels. Hate having to fight Jeanne.
I was using the trick in chapter 7 boss battle to get lots of halos. it took awhile at first since I did not have selene's light or gaze of despair. had odette and durga so i farmed with them. kept losing but then i got enough for selene's light and then finally gaze of despair. I was making like 300k of halos each time I fought the boss. Bought up all the witch hearts being sold which gave me a lot of life and I bought everything else so far. A few things are still hidden and then there are the items from the phone booths. I was told to fight the boss on hard to get 5 million halos to but the climax braclet to go to another place to farm for even more halos. About 20 million is all I need to get everything in the game and hopefully have some left to get healing items whenever i need them.
I only did the first portal and i plan to leave the rest for later. I've heard using the climax braclet will not let you save your progress when done or maybe it just prevents you from uploading it to the leaderboard. Anyways I'm going to try it and see what happens. I found a guide for all treasures in the game that I plan to use when I start hard mode. Have to open all chest for a trophy and getting lots witch hearts is great too because I love more health. Not sure what the magic pearls are for but I have lots of those. says there for doing torture attacks but I'm wondeing if I can do a torture attack and have another if I fill up a bunch of them.
I'm hoping that by the time I reach infinite climax difficulty I only need the trophies for completing it. I plan to get all other trophies by the time I finish hard. I feel I should be done with Boyanetta in two weeks time at the most.
On another note, I organized my PS3 saves. I had them all placed in folders and alphabatized. Some games had multiple saves and they were annoying me. now each game is a folder with it's saves in it. Makes less clutter. Some of my game saves are locked so I need to work on them as fast as posible. The saves I've beaten or have done a lot of progress with are copied to my 4GB flash drive.
Figure I have to beat the chapter 7 boss 10 more times to get 5 million halos. Not that much so I'll do it. then do the other grinding with the bracelet to get everything else. I might then do all levels again on normal to get everything until I'm back to chapter 13.
@YamataDragon I make sure to always have some lollipops. I heard that if you beat a level with the bracelet it still saves just not your score which I'm fine with. You can also do the portal challenges as well. I want to be done in two weeks at most. Someone said that having the climax bracelet and pillow talk let them pass hard and climax in two hours a piece. Sounds good. I'm going to try and get everything in normal so I can focus on getting hard and climax done.
Nice progress. The pearls add to your magic gauge. This way you can store up to 3 magic gauges for torture attacks. Pillow Talk is a good weapon to use as well. Especially when you charge it. As for the Climax Brace, according to the Collector's Edition Guide for Bayonetta, it just says "any scores earned while Brace is equipped will not be saved by the game or officially recorded in the online Leaderboards." Make sure you save up a lot of those Yellow Lollipops for Infinite Climax mode boss battles.
Really liked the demo to Bayonetta. It's a game I plan on buying eventually. Just a lot if stylish action and fun.
Thinking of doing some grinding to get the climax bracelet and or pillow talk to fight better. This boss on chapter 13 is hard although I only tried once.
