I went to Walmart today and managed to finish my Christmas shopping. I found this Snakebyte wired PS3 controller with rapid fire for $12. Gamestop has it $40 and online only. I saved some money and got a turbo controller that doesn't need batteries like my other turbo. I wasn't just going to get another turbo controller for one trophy but it was $12 and didn't use batteries so it was a good buy anyways. It's turbo was fast enough to get me the "I want to be a robot" trophy. It took 10 months to get it and it's listed as near impossible making it my 4th near impossible platinum.

I finally got it and got to take it's install data off my hard drive; about 2 GB's.I currently have 83GB of my 160. I installed all of my Black Friday games plus downloaded the God of War Origins Collection which together is 16GB. I'm going to go get the Infamous Collection next time I'm at Gamestop so I can get the voucher. The God of War one expires March 31st next year so I assume the same for Infamous. If I ever get another PS3 I'll get the 500GB one. I'll wait on PS4 to be 1TB at least and come with 2 games for $200, just like my PS3. alos it must be backwards with PS3 or I feel I will not buy it.

I managed to finish command training in Dead or Alive 5. I hate Akira Yuki. His commands were making me mad. If I ever see him again in a game, I'm making him my punching bag. I am so proud of myself for doing it though. Ryu, Bass, & La Mariposa had a ton of throws that required near full circle rotations to do. Ryu had them for holds making a bunch of inuzuna drops. I did it and did them all. All that's left is to do all of the arcade and time attack solo's, survival, & get all costumes. Those last costumes require me to do a legend mode of solo arcade, time attack, & survival without using contnue and it's not guranteed. Imagine going through survival on legend, 100 fights, and not getting the costume. Tina for Arcade, Christie for Time Attack, and La Mariposa for survival. I can do it. The platinum is rarer than the one for Mortal Kombat which is my current rarest.

Sounds like you got quite a few games to play :P. I have a bad habit of buying a bunch of games, but never even touching them XD. I think I'm at 20+ unopened games right now :P.

Also, good luck with getting that platinum trophy :). I use to be quite the achievement/trophy hunter myself... but getting 100% on Catherine absolutely changed that rather quickly XD

Well Black Friday was crazy. I like to install all my new games asap so that I have encouragement to play them. I believe I still have 12 unplayed games right now. Never played Catherine though.

Congrats on the Platinum. I hear the hardest platinum to get is for Zumba Fitness because no one really dances online and you have to dance with over 100 people online for a few trophies. The closest I am to a near impossible Platinum is Arcana Heart 3. It's just that "On The Streets And So Forth" trophy. That thing is a beast. I'm determined though.

That sounds really hard and I looked at all those near impossible trophies. 14 people did it though. That Arcana Heart, Any relation to BlazBlue like the same people worked on it?

@sebetai Arc System Works ported the game here Stateside while Examu are the ones who made it. It's similar to BlazBlue in certain aspects like the 2D art style but BlazBlue doesn't have a Homing Dash like Arcana Heart does. Plus I'd say that it's a lot harder to Platinum than Calamity Trigger because of two of the online Gold trophies and a few of the Bronze trophies. Mainly Lilica's because of how fast the inputs have to be. That plus I don't think that many people are playing it online.

@sebetai I meant Examu made the Arcade version in Japan, Arc System Works made the console version in Japan, and Aksys Games ported the game as a downloadable PSN title here in the states. Got those mixed up.
