  Nextbox: Wasn't a dedicated console to begin with

  Has anyone ever thought that Microsoft thinks beyond 'just' making a console dedicated to video games? Was the Xbox 360 not enough to make anyone realize their intentions was to create a multimedia device?
  
  You can already browse the internet, play games, watch netflix. Then you have Windows 8 and Microsoft itself working on the damn console. No offense but I think it is important to note that Microsoft isn't a company like Nintendo/Sony in the way that: OH LET'S MAKE A DEDICATED GAME CONSOLE SO GAMERS CAN PLAY IT. Microsoft has always been about: What can we do that will attract a larger audience?
  
  So far they are the only "game" (in quotation marks because it is sarcasm) company that makes ONLY game consoles. they obviously don't: work with tv companies, work in multiple areas of marketing, make products for pc, etc. They only make games and that's how it has always been. /sarcasm
  
  Who ever said that the new console has to be all about games? Nothing stopping Microsoft from sticking Windows 8 on it with kinect. I don't see any reason why people should think so one-sided about a company that has multiple sides. To put it in perspective... Is it not a coincidence that Sony.. The company who works on blu-ray put blu-ray on the PS3. OMG never would have thought of that.
  
  I mean I don't blame people for saying they don't want to get the nextbox because of a leak/rumour saying it will always be online but to say it is going to suck as a game console is a little bit off considering Microsoft doesn't exactly... I don't know, don't make dedicated consoles anymore? I don't blame people who hate consoles that aren't dedicated though. It is all a matter of opinion/values. I just don't like it when people think it won't have anything else to offer.

  Cthulhu Saves the World

  

  
  I've been playing the game recently and it can get kind of addicting even though the plot isn't all that great. If you're looking for an intense rpg I recommend this one. You can get it on steam.
  
  On another note about a couple weeks ago I started a manga called Hungry Joker which is a science manga. It appears in the weekly shonen jumps and I noticed it was gaining popularity so I decided to try it myself. I like it so far and I think it could go down a good path if the plot keeps developing like it is. Right now it is pretty slow though.
  
  Pretty much sums up this month.

  Best way to stop evil DLC

  #1. Don't buy it

  I bet you haven't heard of this one.

  #2. Think for a moment

  Do you really want a horse armor set or some castle expansion in your game? Is the extra quest to get a legendary scale armor worth $15?

  And the point I'm trying to get across is how much of this 'evil DLC' do you really want? The majority of it is major crap and not worth downloading. I wouldn't even think of it as completing the game.
