  Never-Satisfied-Public

  The main way that I get my Video Game news is through various podcasts such as the HotSpot, 1UP yours, and IGN's Gamescoop. This week and the previous, I witnessed an interesting event which proves my theory.

  In one instance I needed to listen to Podcasts from lsat week and this week together while playing some catch-up. The main thing that was being discussed last week was the rumoured price cut for the ps3. While listening to their speculation of a price drop, I already knew that the ps3 had already gotten its price drop.
  Here is the interesting part:
  Nearly everyone from 1UP, IGN, and Gamespot were saying that sony must do this and it will benefit them greatly if they do so. Fast Forward to this weeks podcast where the price drop has happened and everyone (mainly IGN's Editors) are sayinng that its not enough and that they may need to drop it more.

  This rush of news allowed me to see that no matter what a company does, the general public is not happy.
  When it is all rumor, everyone is exited, but once it comes true, they say that they want more.

  Even if the price was dropped $200, people would still say that its too expensive and there aren't enough games.

  No matter what is done, it is never enough and people will forever be complaining.

  My Heart Exploded

  So Today I came into work expecting to see a countdown to the GTA IV trailer and waiting a few hours for it like last time.

  I come to find out that the trailer is already up and it starts loading. As soon as it starts, it rocks and there is no dramatic suspense. ITS ALL DRAMA. When I saw the trailer, I went into a moment of complete insanity and could not control myself from screaming outloud.

  I just wanted to get that out of the way first

  In many places people are saying that there is absolutely no ties between the GTA III trilogy and the GTA IV trilogy. That may be true to in the normal sense but in the ways that is important to me, GTA III is aknowledged. First time I saw the trailer I immediately noticed that the Stallion has made a come back by a different name; the "Classique" which is freakin awsome. I love how GTA IV is giving the world more personality before in the detailed places. In GTA III you would hear ads for cards but you would never see those actual models in the streets. like the "Monstrocity.

  Another great thing to see that is clearly visible in one of Gamespot's screenshots is the Image of El Burro in graffiti form on the wall.

  The way that GTA connects with me is the art and design of it from the illustrations to music and all the other things besides running over people and shooting. All those things are well and good but its the personality that makes it untouchable by any other game.
  
  Im just glad I was able to get that off of my chest before I blew up.
