  I owe you guys an apology...

  I want to apologize to all of you. Since sometime around Christmas '07, you probably haven't seen many comments from me on your blog. I feel guilty because you guys always read and comment on mine, and it's not fair. I want you to know that if you blog, I will read it. I try not to make a habit on commenting on a subject I know nothing about. So if I don't leave a comment, you know why. But I can promise you I will read it. Some of you may have noticed that I've indeed begun commenting on your blogs, and I intend to keep doing so.

  Summer Drawing to a Close... :-(

  Well, summer '08 is finally drawing to a close. I start college Monday, and I'm a little nervous. But overall, I'm actually pretty excited.

  I tried to save as much money as possible this summer, and as a result, I only bought 2 games (down from 11 last summer,) Lost Odyssey and Unreal Tournament 3. Lost Odyssey was a very exciting rpg that I loved playing from beginning to end. UT 3, however, just isn't my kind of cake, so to speak. It's a good game, but I just feel that it's a little too fast paced for my liking. I'm thinking of trading it in a GameStop and pre-ordering NHL 09 (September 9 baby!)

  Overall, I feel like this was a great summer for me, and I'm looking forward to starting college on Monday. How was your summer?

  My 18th Birthday + New Laptop

  Well, today is my 18th birthday, and my new laptop my parents ordered me for college came at the perfect time. It's a black Dell Inspiron 1525 with a Hi-def sound card, 2 gigs of ram, and Intel Extreme graphics accelerator. Needless to say, I won't be doing a whole lot of gaming because of the limitations of the graphics card, but it's more than adequate for my schoolwork. I'll be attending junior college for basics, and after that... I have no idea. That's why I'm going to a junior college first. I can get my basics out of the way while buying myself two extra years to decide what exactly I want to do with my life.

  The laptop is the only thing I'm getting for my birthday, witch is perfectly okay with me. We'll be going out to eat and I think my mom is making a cake, but we're not doing much else. Be sure to wish me a happy birthday!
