  A Quick Review of SimAnimals

  My son and I went to the mall and picked up a new copy of SimAnimals for the Wii yesterday and he commenced to play it for a few hours. I sat back and watched off and on while he went through making new animal friends and creating nice little forest areas for all the little animals. After watching him play for a bit I tried my hand at it and came up with this final opinion. The game is great for 7-11 year old children and probably most women that like cute games especially if you like any of the normal Sims games. I enjoyed messing around with the animals and doing the various tasks to gain medals for a little bit, but after a hour of gameplay I had my fill and wanted to return to shooting things and racing stuff. In case anyone is wondering there are 34 animals to discover and they can all interact with each other and visit the different areas of the forest. Overall I recommend this game for a rental at least.

  New stuff for 2009

  Welcome to another rambling and boring blog from your's truly. It's been a couple months since I have posted anything and I just wanted to get on here and let everyone know what's new for 2009. I received Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Christmas from my wife which was pretty cool since she only ended up paying $45 for it at a local media exchange store. I still can't believe how much people want for it on Ebay. My son and I have been kicking the crap out of each other off and on ever since. Shortly after getting that game I found out I could've just built it on a program called MUGEN, so I did and it's cool. I added characters that I thought should of been on it and took ones out that I didn't like. Let's see, my son and I also received a Nintendo Wii from the In-laws which was a huge surprise and now I'm gonna have to start getting into all that mess. Anyway, looks like it's time to eat so maybe I'll get back to rambling in a few days.... adios.

  Marvel vs. Capcom 2

  So, the other day I was thinking to myself, "self, why don't you pick up an old 2D fighting game?" I started running through my head all the different games that I used to play in the arcade and the old systems and I stopped on MvC 2. I then set out to purchase it on Ebay, not knowing how unbelievably expensive the freaking game was going to be! I mean there is one listing for $200! What in the world must someone be smoking to pick it up for that price?!?! I have looked on Craigslist for the game in my area and the two listings that popped up had it at $100! I went to Gamestop and Ebay games; one store told me they didn't carry it, the other said that they only had one copy and that they would not sell it since they use it for tournaments!! I can't believe this crap. I just wanted to buy the game and kick the crap out of my son on it for a little while and I can't even touch it for less than $65! I have told myself I will not buy it for any more than $45 and that's that. If any of you can find it for a cheaper price let me know....
