E3 hasn't officially started yet but the previews have been so awesome and have me hyped more than ever. The announcements so far have been amazing. With Konami announcing the Silent Hill collection, Zone of the Enders collection and the Metal Gear Solid Collection all in HD and coming to PS3 and 360.

So with all this excitement I figured I throw a list together of what I hope to see or what I expect to happen:

    Nintendo

Obviously they will show their new systemProject Cafe. Hopefully they'll have something running on it and not just screen shots or lame video of "what it can do".

Zelda: The Skyward Sword will hopefully get a release date and a demo that actually goes well.

Maybe some new and good games for the 3DS

So needless to say until I get a bada$$ next gen Zelda game I'm not really expecting much from Nintendo. Don't get me wrong NES, Super NES and 64weresome of my favorite systems and I loved what Nintendo did back then, but one can only take so much Wii Sports. To me, and this is my OPINION, the Wii lost its magic about 10 titles or so ago.

    Microsoft

Rumor has it they will announce their IPTV (LOL funny when you say it out loud) app for the 360, which turns your 360 into a cable box for steaming TV programing, and they'll have a new "Diamond" level Live tier for this.

Kinect games, kinect games oh and more kinect games. I had the honor of playing one of these mind blowing monstrosities a few months back and oh boy. I know I'm white but I do have rhythm and good hand to eye coordination. This thing made me so mad at times and forget trying to play with someone in a small apartment.

Anyway as far as "real" games go, I expect Gears of War 3,Fable 4, Forza 4, Alan Wake 2, and obviously they'll show off Modern Warfare 3 and Mass Effect 3.

To me MS really needs to step it up and put some effort into first partytitles so hopefully they'll show off some new IPs and give me a reason to own my 360 outside of Gears and Halo.

    Sony

Sony, Sony, Sony. Oh what a year you have had so far. Get hacked much? Despite all the trails and tribulations you are put through and despite how much of my personal information you hand over to someone I still love you but seriously get your security crap together.

I'm down with NGP yeah you know me. Sorry I had to do it andI hate that name but luckily its been changed or rumored to have been changed to Playstation Vita. Again I don't really care for it but whatever it could be called the "Super Awesome System 5000" as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to buy the thing.

With games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Wipout: 2048, and Silent Hill: Book of Memories how can you go wrong. Plus the new "Transfarring System" that Kojima introduced is awesome and I hope more games include that.

I'm sure the newly released Sony Experia Play will be talked about and that is one beast of a phone. To bad its limited to Verizion or I would have one.

I expect demos of Resistance 3, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Journeyand Uncharted 3. I also want to see more of the HD PSP games for the PS3. Anyone upfor some Monster Hunter?

I'm hoping for some Final Fantasy VS XIII, Killzone 4, Grand Turismo 6, The Last Guardian, Shadows and ICO Collection, maybe something on the God of War side, andValkyria Chronicles 3 on the PS3.

    In Conclusion

I could ramble all night about this but with so many exciting things on the way and so many rumors going around there are about 5 thousand things I could wish and hope for and I'm sure I have forgotten something but in the end only time will tell whats going to happen and it all starts tomorrow.

Happy gaming my friends and until next time........

    Hey, long time no Blog.

So the year is coming to a fast end and I've been pretty happy with the games I've played this year but you know there are still some games I haven't even gotten to experience mainly because I don't have a 360 or a Wii such as

    Gears of War 1 & 2

    Halo 3 & ODST

    Left for Dead 1 & 2

    Mass Effect

Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles and Umbrella Chronicles

    Assassin's Creed 2 & Bloodline

    Infinite Undiscovery

    Dead Space: Extraction

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: the Crystal Bearers

I'm sure theres more but I was wondering what games do you feel like you missed out on this year?

Well to start this off here are my new additions:

    Red Faction: Guerrilla PS3

    and lastly I picked up a Xbox, Halo 1 & 2 and Fable:the lost chapters for $30.

I'm still working on Chrono Cross, Star Ocean:Second Evolution, andValkyria Chronicles. I'm hoping to finish these up this month.

Lastly I for some reason threw in Metal Gear Solid 4 Saturday and I was compelled to play it to the end. This game so freakin great. I know I'm a few years late but I didn't believe until now. I still can't get all the action and great cut scenes out of my head. The story is so amazing and leaves you wanting more. I know I can't say anything that hasn't already been said about this game but thats just my two cents on it.

well thats it here until next time.....later

Well as for new games to the collection I picked up and/or finished:

    Lord of the Rings: Conquest

Ghostbusters:Irecently finished this and gave it a 8/10, It's a very good game with a nice replay value.

    Sacred 2: Fallen Angel

X-Blades: You should probably stay clear of this game. Definitely not worth the $50 I paid for it.

Prototype: It was a pretty cool game gave it a 8/10 but I think I expected more from it so I was a little let down.

Right now I'm currently playing the following games and here is just a summary of what I'm doing in each.

Valkryia Chronicles: On chapter 7 of 18 chapters I think

Chrono Cross: I'm 9 hours into the game. I'm fighting the Hydra to get the Medicine to save a certain character

Star Ocean: Second Evo; I'm 5 hours into the game. I'm looking for a specific herb for someone.

I also plan to start Magna Carta: Tears of Blood and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles soon. I'm pretty much dedicating myself to one game for all the main systems I have instead of just playing all my PS3 games right now.

In other news I have partnered up with a colleague and we are writing a script to present to a network for what we hope will be a feature film or TV series. So once some of the story falls into place I'll post here and I would like to get some feed back from you guys. Another project of ours, mainly mine, is a sci-fi horror novel which has been in development for a few years entitled Project Psychosis. If anyone is interested in that let me know and I'll send you a sample. So thats whats been going on here for the last few weeks and going forward.

Well thats about it here until next time..............later

I really love RPG games but the one thing that I don't like is the fact that I get so into the story that I forget to SAVE. Ugh, I have been playing Star Ocean: Second Evolution on PSP for a few days and I finally died and lost about 2 hours worth of progress because I forgot to save. If any of you have played it you will know that most of the first few hours is a lot of talking between the characters, and I mean a lot. the story is panning out to be pretty good, well so good that I forget to save, hint this blog. I also blame this current generations games since all the games on PS3 and 360 have checkpoints and I think I've gotten to used to it. What do you guys and gals think? Does it happen to you?

yeah I know its June I'm behind sorry.

Well new additions to the family are

Infamous Valkyria Chronicles Little Big Planet

I completed Infamous a few days ago as a good guy on hard mode. The is really awesome. If you don't have it yet go get it. Think of Assassins Creed meets GTA4 and you have the way infamous plays. The story is pretty awesome as well. If you want any insite on it just PM me and I'll let you know. I have started an Evil playthrough as well and yes the story does change abit. The powers also differ from good to evil and I have to say I'm enjoying the evil ones more so than the good ones.

I also finished Metal Gear Solid on PS1. It was a really awesome game. I didn't expect it to have so much emotion. I can't wait to play the rest.

E3 was pretty awesome. Some how I got the Microsoft and Nintendo emblems and not the Sony one but its cool. I'm pretty hyped for a few games. mainly the big names Final Fantasy 13 and 14, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, God of War 3, and Assassin's Creed 2. There's probably more but I can't think of them.

The Tokyo Game Show is set for September 24th - 27th this year and I would love to go as I'm sure everyone here would but I think I really am going to try to go. See how Comic Con is already sold out, which is july 23rd - 26th if you are wondering.

Well thats enough of me. what's been going on in your world? Until next time....Later.

Well first thing is first Zathic and I have decimated Resident Evil 5's story mode. We were both awarded the Platinum Trophy. It's my first Platinum. I also played and finished Dark Sector. It's a pretty good game with an OK story. Never played the online mode.

In other gaming news I'm working on getting the trpohies for both Fallout 3 and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune part time while my main focus is completing Metal Gear Solid and Chrono Cross.

So far both games are great. Chrono Cross is a great RPG something I haven't experienced in awhile. Metal Gear is awesome. I remember playing this when it first came out and I didn't really get into it but I'm glad I decided to give it another shot.

Well thats about it here. Time to mosey.....Later

Well tomorrow's the big day. I turn 25. Yep thats right tomorrow's my B-DAY and I'm old. So what does a 25 year old Maintenance Inventory Purchaser for a pharmaceutical company get for his birthday? Uh video games of course!

So like every other time someone gets me a gift I can always get it out of them what it is, yeah I'm a big kid, so they just give it to me and this is no exception. So here's what I got so far:

    Resident Evil 5

    Metal Gear Solid 4

    Saints Row 2

    Dead Space

So I've got more games to add to my collection and more games to add to my need to play list. I'm not really sure if thats a good thing, LOL.

As far as games have recently finish, I completed Bioshock. I was a pretty cool game, I gave it a 8.5 and I also completed Killzone 2. Really liked KZ2 I gave it a 9. Online is fun but I think I still like Resistance 2 better. I still working on Chrono Cross.

Well thats it. Hope all is well and until next time...........Later

First off this isn't your usual gaming blog. Over the weekend I was playing online on the PS3 and to my knowledge I believe this is were this situation came from but if not I want to address it here as well. On Saturday I receive what I can only assume and take as what we call hate mail. The subject of the matter was my screen name, slaves or caim_slaves.

I just want to go on the record to say I have never been or ever will be racists. My name was not created to offend anyone or to make fun of things that have happened wwwwaaayyyy in the past that I have nothing to do with. If it does offend anyone let me take this time to say I am truely sorry and its not meant to be that way. The name Slaves is the short terminology that is used when referring to my band Slaves to Addiction and the combination of caim_slaves is simply my favorite video game character (Drakengard) and my band.

So again if I have offend anyone with my name I am truely sorry. It was never meant to be taken like that. So if the person that sent the mail to me is here on GS I hope you read this and understand where I'm coming from.

Other than that Call of Duty World at War is cool. Gave it a 8. Nothing special the online mode is ok. I still haven't played anything that matches resistance 2's online.

I started playing Chrono Cross saturday. Its turning out to be pretty good. I've only invested about 4 hours into it so far but i'm liking it.

I got some new comics if anyone cares to know. I order the entire Marvel Secret Wars from 1984. I can't wait to get them in. I also got a really kick ass movie Friday you have to check out.

This movie is seriously the gorest and funnest movie i have seen in my entire life. Plot: In the near future the Tokyo Police Corp. is locked in a great battle with enhanced super humans called Engineers. the Engineers can bio-fuse wounds with weapons such as a guy having a chainsaw as an arm. The daughter of the police chief's right hand man is looking for her fathers killer. She mercilessly battles the engineers to get to the man that killed her father going as far as tracking them down into a weird and I mean WEIRD fetish club.

Well thats about it here. Until next time my friends......Later

Well first off how is everyone. Good I hope.

I finished Mercenaries 2 today and I have to say I'm kind of really starting to doubt GS and their reviews. I had alot of fun with this game. I did notice the glitches that are mentioned in GS's review but after you download the patch they seem to disappear. The games playes alot like the first Mercenaries with some small differences. The story is very minimal and not really important when it comes to this game. Look to finish the games MAIN story mode in about 4 or 5 hours. I scored it a 8.0

Also I finished Civilation Revolution a few days ago. Its a fun but very short game. It has a decent replay value and some cool DLC on the Playstation Network. You can look to finish this game, depending on how you play, anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. Domination is the easiest and fastest way to win. I gave it a 8.5

Last on today's list. I've kind of been wanting to write a review for a game and I haven't really been sure what game to write about so I finally said I'll pick something easy and try it out. So I wrote about Super Street Fighter 2 turbo HD remix. You can check it out here. Its my first one so be nice, LOL. Let me know what you think, I know its nothing special. Also if there is anything you would like me to review let me know.

Other than that its been that same ol' stuff. Well until next time....Later.

Hears a little update for the kids out there in video game land.

I finished Fallout 3 a few weeks back.

Awsome game loved every minute of it. I gave it a 9.5. Still working on getting all the trophies so I may go back and play this again at some point.

    I downloaded Savage Moon

Its a pretty cool RTS game for $10 and has Trophy support for those of you that likes to collect those. I do. It kind of reminds me of Star Ship Troops, if you've watched that.

Also I down loaded the Resident Evil 5 demo

This was a great demo, mainly because of the Co-op feature it has. I had the honor of playing with my good friend Zathic you can read more about our adventure on his blog.

Again I played the Killzone 2 demo. I won't go into that since I posted previously about that.

I plan on starting Drakengard 2 again tomorrow for the 3rd and final ending. Its going to be great. I just wish more people would give the Drakengard series a go. The story is unbelievable. Also in the Now Playing section of my page I have listed the games I plan on playing or finishing.

Other than that I picked up Far Cry 2 and Sid Meier's Civilation Revolution last week. I think after this summer I'm not going to buy anymore games until Final Fantasy 13 comes out. I have more than enough to hold me over.

Well thats it for now, until next time....Later.

So I actaully got my hands on the beta demo for Killzone 2 today. I have to say the games is way better than the first one. From the start of the demo you are thrown into a game that is a non stop action packed theatrical event that makes you feel like you are in a movie. The visuals and sound are great. I really could not believe how much stuff was going on around me and there wasn't any frame rate lag. As far as the controls, I didn't really feel any type of delay in the way the game responded to what you did like I have read on some reviews. I really can't wait for this game to hit the shelves this month.

Well here's a little update for you guys and gals in gaming land. I finished Mirrors Edge a few week back. It was cool not great but good. I gave it a 7.5, I downloaded the content for Lair got the new control set up and dragons. I like the analoge flying better than the six-axis. Thet two new dragons are awsome. As far as the game goes: if you have a PS3 and like dragons and mid-evil themes get this game. I know the reviews are bad for it but the game is exciting and beautiful. The story is good, it has plot twists, conflict and has some sad parts. I gave it an 8.0. I also started play Dragon Ball Z: Infinte World and I stopped playing it. Reason: the game isn't that good. I just can't get past the mini games you HAVE to do. I want to fight, I want to yell KAME HAME HHHHHAAAA not chase Bubble the monkey around on King Ki's planet. So I have given up on this game until I have completed every other game I have and have nothing else to do.

So other than that I have been living my life in the Wastes of Fall Out 3 and what a life it is. This game is amazing. Although it does freeze up alot after you play 4 or more hours at a time and its not just the PS3 version the 360 version is the same way if not worse because it also freezes in VATS which I haven't come across yet and I'm almost done with the game. I highly recommend getting the guide for this game simply because of how much stuff is lying out in the waste land waiting for you, ei: Alien space craft. oh yeah there's one out there.

I'm hoping to start the last ending for Drakengard soon like now, LOL but with Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, Lord of the Rings Conquest, and my newly aquired copy of Bio Shock I'm kind of scratching my head and wondering which one I should play first. Choices choices choices.

Other than that I'm looking forward for season 8 for DBZ coming out in Feb. I just recently watched Jumper. Its a decent movie. I liked the way the teleporting or "jumping" looks in the movie. I wish i could do that. I also watched Pine Apple Express. If you haven't seen this yet go now and get it. I laughed my, well you know off. Seth Rogen, James Franco, and Danny McBride are hilarious.

Well thats it my friends, tune in next time when I tell you the tale of Mutt McGee. Until then, Later.

Well this is my first blog of 09. Congrats to me. Don't really have any updated information for you. Nothing has really happened so far this year. I've put a plan in place for games i would like to finish in January and Febuary. Starting with finishing Mirrors Edge, and the downloaded content for Lair. Then I'll be starting Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World and then it's the Third and final ending of Drakengard 2. I'm not sure what will be after those but hey its a start.

Not much other than that going on here. I trade my Elder Scrolls: Oblivion in just so I could get the Game of the Year version with the two expansions. I know it sounds dumb but I like collecting games and I got it for $12 after my trade in, so I don't think it was that bad.

I hope everyones Holidays were good. Mine was. My son's (yes I have one if you didn't know) birthday is Wednesday so Happy Birthday to him. He'll be 3 years old. I got him his first gaming system. Its a V-Tech V-smile. I may consider getting him a Wii if he likes the V-smile. Some my think 3 is to young to be gaming but I got my first console when I was 3, the Atari. ET was my first game. Its a surpise I'm still gaming after that game, LOL.

Well thats it here. Hope all is well and until next time, Later.

Whats up everyone. Just thought I drop a blog about whats going on and take the time to wish all of my friends here (you guys) a Happy Holidays.

First I finally finished all my shopping today, thank goodness. I really don't care for holiday shopping, traffic and crowds. While I was out I pick up something for myself. I got the Metal Gear Solid Collection (1-3) for PS2 and Resident Evil 1 for Game Cube. So more games for the collection.

Also I got the new Game Informer mag today and I found something very funny or very scary, you decide. There is a page for Killzone 2 and its saying the game is coming out for PS3, XBox 360, and PC!!!! I pretty sure its a misprint but I found it funny.

I'm finally getting a day off tomorrow so I'll will certainly be online and gaming all day so if anyone want to do some online gaming let me know.

    Thats about it here. Later.

I finally got on the Playstation Network today and WOW, I've been missing out on a lot of stuff. I checked out the PS store and downloaded some exspansions and Demos. I also checked out Home. Its pretty cool. I never got to play pool or bowling because of all the people in line. But I checked out everything and met some new people and ran away from some, lol. I also sent out some friends request to those of you that I knew.

My PSN name is caim_slaves. Feel free to add me.

They were showing the first 8 minutes of the new Resident Evil Degeneration movie. Its cool can wait to get the DVD.

If anyone is interested in playing online let me know. I have Haze, Resistance 1 and 2, GTA4 and Mercenaries 2. I think they are the only ones with online play. I'll have to check.

Thats about it. I'm still playing Mercenaries 2 and Prince of Persia.

Hope all is well. Have a safe and Happy Holidays. Later.

What are your thoughts on HOME????

In other news I got another early gift Devil May Cry 4 and Mercenaries 2. So the gaming list contiues to grow.
