No internet made me sad
Hello, Fellow Gamers:
It's me... Mario!!!! ... er... wrong name...
Anyway, I am back from a small hiatus due a lack of internet service for some sort of stupid actions by my Internet COmpany. I certainly found myself doing some other kind of boring stuff like reading books (I started reading THE SILMARILLION once again), listening to music and watching movies...
After all, I got my internet back and I am joyful
There is not really much to talk about. THings at work are great (knock on wood), Still withoutan XBOX (In case you are wondering, I sold the one that got wrecked), and strongly considering getting a PS3 instead,
I might have something interesting to say later, but for now, I am kind of back... LOL
Thanks for reading this microblog and have a great day.

My favorite video of 2009
Due to a lack of inspiration, I will show you my favorite video made last year. Probably you remember it. It is a compilation of my favorite 50 movies. I re-edited it during holidays, so I think it is slightly better.
I promise next blog will be something original

Regards and enjoy. Your comments are always welcome

Best of the decade: Top 10
Well, As promised, here are the 10 best games I had the chance to play last decade. Hope you like them. (If there are pictures missing, I am sorry, some people doesn't like to share theirs
)10.- Knights of the Old Republic

Certianly a great RPG based on Star Wars Universe is a hook for every person with a geeky heart. Giving you the ability to choose your side and join great battles made this a unique. For me it is the best XBOX game ever. Plus, the ending was quite awesome.
9.- COD 4: Modern Warfare

If I had to choose just one game from this series, this will be it. The one that started it all. Great gameplay, great graphics, big moments that will be on our minds forever, a great ending, a pretty hard aftermath, and the beginning of a great multiplayer game. Certainly this game changed the perception of a great multiplayer game.
8.- Mass Effect

Yep. Just another RPG that was very similar to KOTOR. Space, Sci Fi, great characters, a little bit of romance, a little bit of action, a little bit of everything let me tell you. Mass Effect gave us a good approach for RPG's to follow and its story was hard to top back in the day. You never feel like you completed the game until you have done everything that is possible. One of the best games ever.
7.- Batman: Arkham Asylum

Say what you want. If you put Batman in such a gret experience I will be biased, so that would be why it is so high on this list. As I had said many times, Batman got the game his character deserved. Dark atmosphere, mind playing enemies, the ability to use both physical and detective skills and of course, the chance to bring fear in others. Memorable games give you memorable moments.
6.- Grand Theft Auto IV

I put this one as high because it was a really nice experience overall. I certainly enjoyed this game and the big possibilities it gave me. The story was quite good and the characters where easy to love or hate whatever the case it was in its moment. Niko Bellic was one great character for use, and this game never gets tired as you have a lot of stuff to do: Race cars and steel them, do a little favor to certain people... you name it and you can do it.
5.- God of War 1 & 2

For me it is different to see them separatly. they are just one big game. Since I couldn't which game was better, I put them overall. Kratos was the Ultimate Anti-Hero: A semi-God that is angry as any God can be, and certainly capable to kick some rears. The battle system was just as good as it was deadly. I have to say that the brutality of the game put a lot in favor and certainly is the kind of game that puts a lot of pressure to get a PS3 which I might do since these games were released for the system and of course... the third game is about to come.
4.- Assassin's Creed 2

Yeah, it was that good for me. Put the great escence of GTA IV and some sgreat story during one of my favorite lifetimes: the Renaissance and you have such a great game. Ezio is the kind of guy you love to see win after all that happened. Combined it with a story that brings a little Matrix and you get interesting stuff. Plus, those easter eggs or glyphs give you the chance to play some good riddlers that help you work your mind. You can play manager, assassin, treasure hunter, artist collector. It is just an unfrogettable experience... and the best part is that it will continue.
3.- Bioshock:

The ultimate utopian experience. A city under the sea that ended among his own dreams. You just happen to fall there by coincidence... right? This is one of many mysteries that you have to deal with while battling a bunch of creatures called splicers. Bioshock brought an experience that you can only see in a movie. If I had to choose a perfect director for this adventure, it would be David Fincher: Oscure, with twists and mysterious characters in a world full of fantasy. The image of one man! Everyone is familiar with names like Andre Ryan, Fontaine, Tenebaum... And I can keep. The game is probably themost astonishingatmosphere. It makes the term "Under the Sea" a little less attractive than the Little Mermaid's song, but that is not a bad thing. ANd of ocurse, the main star: The Big Daddy. The first time you face one of these tough bastards is certainly epic. You never forget who are they and you always find satisfactory when you beat one of them. ANd then comes the ethical issue with the little sisters... Kill them or save them... When a game gives you all of this... How can't it be in the best games of the decade and maybe ever!!!
2.- Shadow of the Collossus

Shocker? Not for me. The best game I ever played in a PS2. This game was a masterpiece and certainly one of my greatest experiences. Feeling the need to climb on those creatures was a shocking moment. The music was one of my favorite ever and it was attached with the excitement of killing the big colossi. The game was made in such way that it was inevitable to feel sad every time you killed one of them. It was like it was announcing you that you were doing something terrible. The collossi were made in a way that you just had to watch them and admire them before you started to think how to beat them. NO enemy was the same and trying to find the way to kill them was part of the magic of this game. I think the fact that you just have to trip long ways to find them with no other rivals than the Colossi was part of the magic. That way you just keep focued on them, needing to find them and checking the next one. A magic experience and in a magic place... with an ending that was really confusing... but that's the way it is
1.- Fallout 3.

What can I say about Fallout 3. When you have the freedom to roam around a huge world there is a lot to thing and say... this was a marvelous place to be even though it is destroyed. How accurate can it be...? Fallout 3 gave me 125 hours of fun (counting DLCs). It has a lot to show us and certainly it is one of the biggest games ever. Not only gives you the change to be as you want to be (You want to be a sneaky thief, fine... you want to be a deadly killing machince... fine) but to play the game as you want it. If you just stay in the main storyline, you can finish the game in about 40 hours, but the rest of the game is what gives this game the big spot. The hugeness and possibilites are unmeasurable. Looting is important as it is killing creatures. Nothing is wasted in this game. Either you sell the scrap you find or use it to build stuff or trade for other goodies. The options are part of the game. Be good or be evil... (Evil is funnier but certainly you have to be a true bastard) and of course, the cherry on the top of the cake: You have the chance to blow a whole town!!! How cool is that?? (In video games terms of course...) With great moments to live as a character, multiple choices for weapons and adventures that can last hours, great characters that you can either kill or befriend and other things that would make this post as huge as the game, Fallout 3 is by far the best game of the decade for me and certainly among the top 20 games of all time... for me.
Thanks for reading and have a great day! (I will see what I can post next)
