Just an update, and then I'll be on my way.
I don't know if anyone I previously talked to here will see or read this, or if you're even still visiting the site.. But let's cut to the chase. I haven't visited GS in a looooong time. At least, that's how it feels to me. I look back on these past few months and think it has been a long time, when in reality, a few months isn't a long length of time at all.
I've finally graduated High School, have been accepted college, I've got a job for the summer, and I'm ready to go to school in the fall. I'm really, really looking forward to it.
For the past year or so, I have been looking forward to this moment with such anticipation, and it's almost here. However, one thing that I didn't expect to happen, did in fact, happen. Soon after graduation, I realized how much I'm going to miss the people in my life. Family, friends, acquaintances, my pets.. I will not see any of them, for a time. My school is by no means far away from home, but even still.. Any distance away from home can still feel far.
I guess it was a sort-of revelation to me. I wasn't expecting the idea of leaving home to hit me hard, but it did. Only time will tell how I deal with the situation come late August, when I leave. One thing is for sure, though.. I need to stay away from Toy Story 3.
It's so sad but an amazing movie.
There's so much I could write here, but compiling all of my thoughts into words has never been a specialty of mine, and I feel like I've said too much already. I hope you all are well. To be honest, I doubt I'll be visiting here much at all after this. I'd like to thank everyone here who has been here to talk to me, ask how I'm feeling, and just simply be there for me to vent to. Having a blog to let your thoughts and feelings flow is a great thing, but for now I just don't have the encouragement to keep writing.
I'll check up on you guys now and then, but like I said, it won't be nearly as often. I wish you all the best and thank you, again. It means a whole lot to me that you guys have been there for me these past four years.
I still go on Facebook now and then, so if you'd like to add me online there, I'd happily accept the request. Just PM me and I'll send a link to my profile your way. I'll be checking on here for a few days to see what you guys have to say, and then I'll be on my way.
Thanks again everyone, I'm really fortunate to have met all of you fine Gamespotters.

Prom 2012
Hello my fellow Gamespotters! I know I have been very inactive lately, and to tell the truth, it's because I keep forgetting to update this blog. See, I use Google Chrome as my primary web browser (because it's f******g awesome) while I devote Mozilla Firefox to Gamespot, because Chrome has a tough time with writing blogs for GS. Anyway, I don't use Firefox too often, so oftentimes I don't even think of writing a blog.
Okay, I'll shut up now and stop giving excuses. However, that was a valid reason as to why I haven't been here.
- Senior prom happened last Friday. Long story short, it was not as fun as Junior Prom. Howevever, I had a good time nonetheless.
I was going to post some pictures, but now I'm not so sure.. I feel odd posting pictures of my friends on here. If you're friends with me on Facebook, you can check them out there. Sorry about the inconvenience.
- I hope you're all doing well. I'm going to be picking up Starhawk on May 8th, already pre-ordered and planning on paying in full this week. I hope it lives up to the hype. If not, then I'll probably move my money over to the new Ghost Recon. Gotta say, it looks pretty fun... Anybody played the beta yet? I'd like to know how it is, seeing as I no longer am part of PlayStation Plus.
Anyway, see you all later. Anybody up for some Battlefield 3, message me on PSN and we'll form a squad. That, or MW3 Spec-Ops missions are also what I'm playing. Multiplayer as well.
(I know I'm a sucker for online shooters).

Happy Easter, and glad to be home.
Well, I wrote out an entire blog before this, until Mozilla Firefox decided to skip back a page and somehow not remember what I wrote. That'll teach me not to copy and paste from a text document.
Anyway, I got back home on Friday from my trip to Florida. My sister, mom and I spent a few days in Miami. The trip went by quickly, but I'm happy to be home (unlike my other family members). I feel that a few days away from home are perfect for when you need to get away, no need for month-long excursions.
My family and I painted eggs yesterday, and this is one of the eggs that I myself painted:
Like it? I know it isn't very well-done, but at least you get the idea.
I hope you all had a great Easter. I had no Easter egg hunt, like I once did, but my day was pretty good.

(P.S. I finally beat Rayman Origins the other day. The last level is extremely annoying and difficult, to say the least. The boss battles section wasn't too bad, but chasing that damn teensy is a burden. That's one of the main problems I have with that game; some of the levels require a ridiculous amount of precision only acquired from trial-and-error. Believe me, I've experienced trial-and-error games before which have done it right (I'm looking at Super Meat Boy) and while Rayman is a very well-polished platformer, there are some times when the screen is so cluttered by flying objects, enemies, and attacks that I have no idea what is going on and I end up losing that life. This is especially prevalent in multiplayer matches; however, kudos to Ubisoft for getting rid of the # lives system that the Mario games have been clutching on to for nearly twenty years too long. They shouldn't have been in Mario 64, nor Sunshine, nor Galaxy, or any game in between).
I wrote more than I intended. Have a great day everyone!
