  yays!

  brand new PS3 set up right in front of me the presentation is superb, I prefer it to the 360's dashboard. The PS store is nice and easy to use, and everything about the console just feels modern and stylish. its also very quiet. i got kane and lynch and assassins creed bundled with it so that should keep me busy for quite a while.

  decisions decisions

  im very tempted to sell my 360 to aid in paying for a long sought PS3 this xmas. Ive had my share of halo 3, and i cant think of any 360 exclusives that i want anymore. Gears of War 2 is certainly something that pops up, but who knows if that will even be exclusive? right now the PS3 has much mroe to offer me; Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, MGS 4, FF13 and GT5, all games that i really want.

  the Xbox 360.

  I'm quite impressed. Gears of War is amazing, Viva Pinata is surprisingly great, PGR 3 is a little dissappointing but overall good fun. The system itself is mostly good with nice graphics and great controllers. However...I have a couple problems with the 360. Firstly being the noise it makes: it is quite noisy for a console, almost being as loud as my PC. Despite these huge fans making this noise, the console overheats a lot. How does this work? I've heard that the PS3 is all but silent and has no overheating problems whatsoever. Microsoft should sort this out with future consoles. I'm also not overly impressed with xbox live. Its acceptable at least, but for 40 quid a year the occasional connection problems and dodgy buying options (not being able to preview dashboard themes? come on) are simply not on for this payment.
  All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and reccomend it just for Gears of War alone.
  Still definetely going to purchase the good old PS3 in march. I dont give a funk about the bad press and the late arrival date, I know its gonna rock and soon it will let me play MGS 4 and GT 5...nuff ******* said.
